Why would want your grinding material to be blowing around ? Thats NOT why it has FRONT EXHAUST.
@dann54807 сағат бұрын
You are using them wrong. You should use the entire surface area of the wrench to apply force.

Mr Maximus, First off, thanks for saving this perfectly functional, made in USA saw from oblivion. 🙌🙌The precise instructions shared in this Skilsaw repair are priceless. While I accept your assertion that '9 out of 10' worm drive saws were sold by Skil, those of us who own other brands like Porter-Cable, Rockwell and Milwaukee* would benefit from the same detailed analysis. In other words, I think your 47,000 subscribers can handle the TRUTH even if this means the video does not have an entirely happy ending. I have never seen a KZbin video about the Porter-Cable 367 or 368 worm drive saws and would be very grateful if you produced one. * Some of us may actually own all three brands of worm drive saws listed. 😉

So, I bought this level to back check some "as-built" drawings I put together the old school way, dragging around some good old fashioned 25' and 100' tape measures. And I'll tell you, this thing works great. I'm not clear on what the issue is with the "accelerometer". It seems to know exactly where it's at in space (relative to dead level) to a hair on a rat's ass. I don't need that info to take room measurements rounded to nearest 1/2". Device works fine for my needs and seems well calibrated right out of the box (within a 1/16"). I paid $60 plus tax at HF. Built-in level doesn't look like it was designed to be used with unit on its side. I agree on wanting body of tool to be square.

Are those not 60 tooth with a dual pawl? 120 positions? I love the six point design on the regular lenth wrenches with higher torque, but its probably more of a nuisance on the shorter wrenches. I love the Olsa gear though🇨🇦

I think thats for adjusting dwell of old time Delco window distributors. IIRC it was easy to do, even without a dwell meter. You opened the 'window', inserted the tool into 1/8" hex point adjustment screw... slowly screwed the adjuster in till the engine just stumbled, then backed it out exactly 1/2 turn, and the dwell would be perfect.
@rwbishopКүн бұрын
@@kenrhodes8132 I recall reading somewhere they designed in the 1/2 turn dance for use at the factory. In any case, after doing so, the dwell would always be spot on... ezpz, no guessing involved. It was also nice to adjust said dwell with the engine running.

Thanks for the HEADS UP! Ross has a bunch of tools from this brand and they loooooooook super well made but I almost bought them without researching. So glad my wife was there to remind me to research first! I almost fell for it because it felt like too good of a deal. Better off looking for great deals on Tekton, Husky, Milwaukee? Should add Dewalts to that too and maybe Gearwrench and the top of the line if you can get a good deal like snap on.

I still think HF is great. I have this kit and I've gotten a lot of use out of it and still have a lot left. I recently bought a Bauer oscilating tool there for $40 and so far it has been excellent!. I used it pretty heavil on a bathroom remodel project, and cut through probably about 30 or so 3" framing nails with the same blade. The blade is still in perfect condition too, carbide tipped Bauer blade. Compare that to what I would have spent on a brand name tool, the overall value is not even comparable. Brand name tools are way overpriced, and until everyone stops falling for it and stops buying them, that's not going to change.

This is a copy from a professional hitachi jackhammer but the chinese made it bigger, with more powerful motor. Its good for large scale demolition of reinforced concrete and its one of the few things you can get for very cheap iet its professional. It outperforms Bosch while costing only 1/10 of the price and the hitachi model that it copies. You say to be used for light work like digging hard soil? 😂 With this you can easily demolish a reinforced concrete house. Its 1700 watts while the original Hitachi is smaller, 1300 watts.
