Jai would warn me like “Dont let me hit ur sister” and seconds after that, my sister pregnant.

He’s actually a pretty good teacher. I legit understood everything because he made it so simple and he condensed the information in such a way that I didn’t get lost/confused and everything just made perfect sense

They were filming the movie "Blood & Bone." The scenes he filmed with Kimbo were in a prison.

This was a thing that helped Fedor Emelianenko. He kept his hands lower, out of usual reaction zone, and he didn't telegraph. He just came up with the punches from out of sight because they were already locked from being lower.
@MA1980c23 күн бұрын
First of all, he stole it from Joe Lewis instructional tapes. Second, there's no point behind it. The punch that got through has zero force, would not so damage

It comes from Michael's Karate background. Most fans of mma discredit Karate, but it definitely still holds some technical benefits in striking techniques and footwork. A main problem is that karate is really watered down in today's schools.
@lucasaguirre2024Ай бұрын
Totally. Okinawa karate is mainly straight kinetic lines, simple, direct hits to break a samurai´s bamboo armor. Not the fanciest moves but incredibly effective. My senseis went to Okinawa to train and returned almost scared.Those guys trainings were absolutely crazy, whole other level. I concur about the actual watering down.

His hands are not positionned the same in the 3rd punch as in the 1st and 2nd punch. And of course if you telegraph waaaay less than you did in the 1st and 2nd punch, you're a little bit more sure to hit the target. this was a simple trick

Shh.. they don't need to know. Giving away secrets. Definitely don't explain board-breaking techniques to the norms. Nor the clinch before impact, tekneek. Breaking their hand is a good lesson to NOT FIGHT. The main reason for training is SELF DEFENSE, unfortunately the norms typically abuse the knowledge
