While nice these roofs cost a fortune to replace and so easy to get a stone fly up the front and bounce on the roof, these cars seem to forever get larger yet offer no more spce inside, add more computer crap to go wrong, i put so many vehicles now into workshops because of sensors or computer related components and the costs make your eyes water.

Unfortunately the seats in the N Design are manually adjusted You lose a lot of equipment compared to the Tekna

It scares me to pay 40k for a motor when 2 days later some uninsured low life on drugs can smash into it and destroy what you have worked hard for. Especially with the Uk's failure on crime and Starmer at the helm!

I have to say that I'm not a fan of regenerative braking systems that offer a strong braking option as there is no indication that the car is slowing - most if not all systems do not activate the brake lights when strongly regenerative braking is activated, and you can quickly find yourself closing to the vehicle in front at an unhealthy rate of knots. Also - I love the design inside and out - but my pet hate is interior door window frames that do not have a shroud or cover fitted. I don't want to pay £40k for a car - and see the exterior colour of the car on the inside of the door window frames. Fitting of a shroud surely can't be that difficult or expensive - and would IMHO bring the car up a notch in terms of class.

I just got the ePower version, brilliant, the torque on the EV drive is amazing & great fuel saving in urban environment. Scenic good car too but they do their Austral hybrid in a complicated way.

diesel would be best option. i had one 2018 model. 41mpg. hybrids are junk and just a tax fiddle.

And diesel is dirty, destroys everything, then you have to really upscale the filters, which cost more money for a pre - NCT / MOT through emissions. Feck that. Hybrid is the way to go. I owned enough diesels in my time. Way too many moving parts and hybrids are actual fuel saving.

@isaachunt5799 No, it's not. Airplanes do not use diesel, ships do not use diesel, yes, courier vans do, buses do, and some trains do. Big difference between refined oil, crude oil, kerosene, and petrol. I'm talking about myself personally, a personal vehicle to drive, anything else is irrelevant.

You say the all in one LED rear light includes turn signal? But it appears that the indicators are still low mounted and still using halogen bulbs even on the top spec £43K model? This is one of the few areas where Hyundai has dropped the ball on this.

I drive the techno automatic. Really recommend it, if it is in your budget. if you choose the techno, i recommend adding the navigation and city pack.

2024 Duster is a completely new design, better than this 2023 model, but if you want to save money put in a lowball offer as they want to move these old models quickly. I will hang on for the new BIGSTER that is out soon.
