I stayed on cabin 13204M and it was PERFECT!!!! Had all I needed. Small but VERY cozy. Camera doesn't do justice. Yes, it's small but NOT cramped!! The shower is WAY bigger than other cruises I've been in a regular room. I Loved it! Would do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for sharing!!

Personally I think drink package is waste of time!! From a personal experience I bought package last year BUT soon discovered 1) only allowed max of 15 drinks a day 2) Only buy 1 drink ie I shot/ small wine/ beer. 3) Have to wait 15mins between each drink before ordering next drink!!( ' responsible drinking)??!!! 🎉 4) can't purchase a drink.for a friend/ family member - due to 1 drink every 15 mins.rule!! Tbh if I have purchased a drink package it should be MY choice if I want a large Gin and a large wine 12 mins later until my 15 drinks have been purchased!! Not happy with this package! As a solo passenger ended up watching the clock and ticking off how many I had!! I consider myself a responsible drinker so wouldn't purchase again!!

It's so important to really check whether the drinks package is right for you - so many people waste so much money without knowing it.

If you have issue with loading the Navigator, ( your device is not compatible) have the folks at customer service install it. In 3 minutes got me straightened away.

May I know what month you took this cruise? We are booked on the oosterdam for the 21 day Mediterranean Explorers Collectors Voyage in September 2006. First time on HAL and first time to many of these ports. They look so beautiful!

Just round the corner from the cathedral, in a little calle infront and to the right there is a small bar where they do flamenco guitar playing and singing late mornings. It's free if you have something to drink, and you can also get a tapa or two if you feel like a nibble

Oops - maybe I should have put a warning on the video 😆 the pop up menu will be advertised in your navigator app. So download it as soon as you as you can before your cruise and then you can scroll through to book speciality dining .

Sailed on Oosterdam around Italy/Greece 2 years ago. Beautiful ship and wonderful food but found the resolutions of on-board problems well short of world-class. If booking this ship, make sure you take paper copies of everything you're expecting or have booked with Holland-America.

@@CruiseWithAmber It was a wonderful holiday and we’d certainly sail on Oosterdam/HS again. I just felt the customer service desk didn’t seem to have the authority to sort issues out without referring to their US office. We’d had a similar problem on NCL involving airport transfers which was resolved immediately. Great KZbin channel! Keep enjoying those cruises!! Love the website

No, there was no smoking in the casino - the only smoking area was at the aft next to the sea view bar. Hope that helps.

Sailed on this ship in 2019, thought it was ok, but not great. Smallish public areas, numerous service problems. Then two month later was on Viking Jupiter. What a revelation! Less than half the size of Oosterdam, light-filled, spacious, quiet, and impeccable services. Will never go back to Hollander America.

This is incredibly helpful, we are booked into deck 8 over Christmas. I'm not loving the lack of privacy but I'm hoping not too many people are going to be walking past!! I was pretty pleased we'd been allocated deck 8 as I have mobility issues and being closer to the 'main' decks is a bonus for me. I guess we will see...!

Deck 8 would definitely be my pick if mobility/easy access is important to you. You'll find great access to all the main areas on deck 6, 7 & 8 and close to the lifts.
