Something that hits the Desert Southwest every Summer

Anvil crawlers are the coolest looking for sure. They’re easy to catch on camera too cause they tend to be in the same spot within the storm moving in the same direction along with it. I’ve also noticed they happen within minutes after a negative ground to cloud strike because the charges need to be dispersed in the clouds.

Why do we sometimes see the rainbow overlap geographic features. I would of thought it stops on the horizon?
