Cool video😊 My grandma's brother was Prof. George Zaslavsky- he dedicated his entire career to the chaos theory. May he rest in peace 🙏

Wow within 40 seconds we had a historical example, the source of the theory, a brief explanation and a relatable saying in regards to it. That has to be the most informative intro I've seen so far really nice.

From this we understand that we don't know what's gonna happen in the future, it is unpredictable lots of variables in place.

I completely agree, it might be random or maybe it's more probable in situations that have higher stakes or more chances of going wrong

You can’t control chaos since it would be like little things gaining powerful effects such as butterfly created a tornado with just one flap

A probability factor should be added to every forecast. When models converge there is a low degree of chaos, when they diverge there is a high degree. This would allow the public to start to understand chaos theory.

News companies should explain this before a big storm forecast, so the public can understand the weather model accuracy a little better.

The fact that Laplace brought this up says enough. He knew that nature is generally unpredictable

Fascinating. When you use following model: Suppose an aquarium of fish. 1 (one, ic 100% full of fish) means: next term all fishes are dead (suffocated). 0 (zero), they are already dead. 0,5 means next period: 0,5* (1-0,5)=0,25. Next time: 0,25*0,75=0,1875. Next 0,1875*0,8125=0,15234375. Etc. It will end to zero. Suppose you feed the aquarium by a factor: (1+a), suppose a=,1. Factor is 1,1 . Then it will end to: 0,09090909 = 1/11. a = ,2. Factor is 1,2. Then it will end to: 0,166667 (1/6). 0,3 makes 3/13. 0,4 makes 2/7. Formula is: (10*a)/(10+10*a). It does not matter what the startamount is. This formule is right untill a =2, factor is 3. Then the outcome splits in 2. And then the startvalue has become important. After a while the outcome splits in 4, in 8, in 16... etc. And then chaos has occurred. And startvalue is essential. And: Chaos Theory is born! Remarkable is that in some periods there are 3 periodics. a=3 is the end. Then factor is 4 that means it is not any more lower than 1. Final Conclusion: A model can be perfect untill a certain point. Then other factors play a role. Very interesting and beautifull in this boring figure-circus is the Mandelbrot set, when we split the outcome in real and imaginary numbers. There is a lot to discover. And it is not boring, it is fun. And these are theories which fascinates all inhabitants of the universe. Aliens are also struggling with this billions of lightyears further. These theories and the Mandelbrot set was already there before the Big Bang. Just like Prime Numbers. Also fascinating.

The butterfly effect is older than 1961. 900 years old....at least, However in mainstream physics on the effects on weather patterns....ok Does failing an art student cause a tornado to scoop up a young girl in kansas.

Completely wrong theory understanding. ( pool table explanation ). Put all the balls on the table and hit just one of course they’re going to hit others and they will move to and sporadic chaotic directions. But if one ball is directed specifically, and purposely at a certain angle against another, not all the other balls or if any other balls will move, except for the one that was targeted, and that we will still also come to rest the table would be big enough.. all things in and of chaos, Will always come to a position of rest or stagnant increase of movement, momentum or even energy. Without energy, there is no possible way for the other two to survive or to exist . Ss this will be equal to politics Woke culture and chaotic violent protest. All things that are physical form are affected by chaos that includes human beings their emotions and actions.

calling it "cahos" is not a very good name. In reality the universe is qualifiable, it's just a complete overwhelming of data to the point that it's incalculable.
