Replay Crew: Happy New Year Brenda to you and your family! I love these 2 cards. A heart shape is one of my favorites and I like your idea of making a card with this set for each season/month. By changing the color palette and adjusting the sentiment would be easy enough to do. (I'm envisioning Crumbcake and white for a Christmas season card) 🫂❤

I made 67 of your little reindeer boxes, most were for my granddaughter's class and then some for friends in my card class and the rest for my daughters who work in healthcare for some of their co-workers and patients.

I love your projects and have enjoyed your project sheets you send out to email subscribers. I often put projects in Cricut Design Space with all the cuts and scores so when I want to make again it’s very fast. I so appreciate the tip of clipping on the folds and used heart die for banner tips. Is it okay to buy from multiple SU demonstrators?

So THAT’S what those kind of laces are called! And you can buy them separately from your shoes! Fantastic! My favorite pair of boots from Lands’ End had those kind of laces and I loved them! Thank you for the great tip!!!

Yes, that's what they are called. They make getting shoes on and off really easy, because the shoelace cord has a little stretch to it. Of course you can totally adjust the tightness by using the locking mechanism. :)

I’m glad I saw your video explaining lock laces and your trick for using them multiple times. My question is: Do the laces flap around on top of the shoe while walking? (You know when you have regular laces, if there’s excess you can make double tying them so they’re not too long) Have a Merry Christmas with your family.

Great question. Yes, there is extra length at the end of the laces (you can decide how much to trim off), but they are easily tucked into the laced up laces (if the extra length bothers you). And Merry Christmas to you too!

Did you ever try putting some Tombow glue on your laces and allow it to dry before lacing your shoes?

I love Tombow for many reasons, but I don't think it would work for this purpose. Tombow glue stays sticky/tacky when dry. Also, adding the masking tape gives the ends of the Lock Laces some rigidity that is needed to push through those small holes.

Thank you, Wanda! I have not made a smaller size, but I'm sure it's possible. The only problem I foresee is that the area at the end that has to be cut off with scissors will be much smaller and therefore more difficult to cut. I'm thinking of perhaps a smaller version made in a slightly different way so that we don't have to cut through as many layers.

Thanks I love the project. To make it sturdy I double up on the legs. Use two and glued them together which makes it stronger.
