I was trying to put my fingers under the hood but when it’s frozen there really isn’t any space for your fingers. That’s when I decided to pour water on my frozen hood and that got it to open.

I havent had an oil change in a while and needed to add some oil. I was about to start freaking out cuz I dont want to blow my engine. I just had my son pull the hood while I held the latch. You don't know how much trouble this saved me. Thank you so much ❤

I have the exact same bidet. How do you get the nozzles to extend outwards and clean them without the water spraying?

Ever see Stevie Wonder play the saxophone? Neither did he. Don't use any goddam concrete cause you're not supporting a deck. The post is supposed to yield when struck by a car. When it gets struck by a car there's no ten ton pile of shit you gotta extract. Just tamp gravel with 24" depth.

Although we have a basement laundry room with a direct vent (so the dryer attaches at the top of the wall), and we can’t use a 90 degree elbow at the top due to plumbing being in the way, we also had a potential for crushed ducting. When we had the dryer technician in to replace the aging drum drive system, he installed a metal elbow at the bottom. Faceless voiceover would be preferable where footage of the process is shown. Also, those grid-type cages are no longer code compliant, at least in some areas, due to their tendency to trap lint.

my house was built in 79. all my walls are just like that, total nightmare. My parents house was built in 1946 and not a single wall is out of plumb. it has the original oak doors and they have NEVER had to be adjusted.

it looks nice, but PVC should NOT be used for a dryer vent. Static electricity builds up and it will become a lint magnet. Also, high temps from the dryer exhaust can potentially melt the plastic. A dryer vent should always be solid 4" metal, either aluminum or galvanized. You should consider using a MagVent transition system

I have this issue but its way worse. I'm going to tear off the drywall on one side and rip wedges top to bottom and then nail them to the studs to level the wall. I only need the one side level. For the other side I'll rip the door jamb material even with the wall and then put the casing back on. Not sure if my solution will work for anyone else but I thought I'd mention it to those who might have something over an inch out like me. Anyway, thank you for posting this.

I have a Subaru Legacy... hood release was stuck with slack in the line running to the release. I found a large Irwin clamp, inverted it to push mode, and used it to push up the hood release. I went to the front of the car, and popped open the hood by hand. Thanks for this video! I greased up/oiled all of the release components, and everything works as it should, no slack feeling. SO glad that I didn't have to leave this at my local garage for a basic fix.

the other way around also works, I would lift the hood just for a bit and put something in between to avoid it closing (like a key or little knife) then pull the inside latch and boom, it would now work, just didnt know about the grease! will try that! thanks for the video!
