Awesome video, that dessert looks so amazing, and after you moved the mic the sound was much better...and I was quite surprised how much I liked the sound of the 2 egg shell halves when you circled them around each other, next time try crunching them up!!

I'm so happy to see you back, Ashley! Great video as always! As far as your audio questions, you always want a mic as close to your mouth as possible. The little mic you used in your previous cooking video was great, levels were maybe a bit high but it was still great! The mic in this video definitely sounded better when you moved it closer as it picks up less room tone. You could put the mics in front of the camera lens( top of the mic would be just below the lens) pointed more in your direction. Just some things to consider. I always love your videos! You have the perfect personality for ASMR :)

The sound was better with the mic, definitely ! I think you could lift it up. I'm afraid food could splash on it lol Butter in microwave ⚠ it explodes lol, so put something on it or you'll ruin the oven and it's a pain to clean.
