Cigar Box is STILL bugged to this day……goodbye Clown’s best add-on 😢 Been using Garnish Make Up Kit along with Cheap Gin until they finally get it fixed!!!

Exactly!!! That’s the only thing that annoys me with going against that perk. Hides aura…okay. Along with scratch marks?!?….that’s beyond excessive. Any non injured distortion user can lose you in a chase just like that if you’re using any aura reading ability…..which is why I haven’t in a while now.

What do you think about Starstruck on clown rn? I usually use 4 gen perks, but lately I replaced eruption with Starstruck and it feels very scary with double speed.

I'm not a fan of Starstruck on Clown! Too weak to pre-running in my opinion.

@@ArinadDBD fair point. I think it's more of a noob stomper cause it turns positioning mistakes into critical mistakes. I mainly run it cause I find it fun when it leads to some insane snowball early on.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but this Felix was likely subtly cheating. At 16:55 you clearly bring Felix to a scourge hook, for his first hook stage, and no tokens are lost. Note that a token is correctly removed upon his final hook at 19:45. Lastly, the odds of this being some sort of sabo bug are slim at best because his first and third hooks were both sabotage fails. There are other factors as well such as if this was a swf or not, could be a good video idea to analyze this match for any further discrepancies. Edit: And GGS for taking them down!

double speed is better than duration/speed. Duration add-on is ONLY good if you use cigar box OR use rapid brutality.

@dodang_9147 I was just saying I enjoy all of those types of add-ons now. I do think 2x speed or speed+extra hinder are the best combos, but don't sleep on duration. It helps a lot on pallet dense maps.

@@AnotherDempsey i think double speed is better. even if they leave loop, 2x speed means that you often hit them before next loop and it chains incredibly well with pink bottles.

@@dodang_9147 it's funny how double speed is faster than blood lust 3 rn (5.29ms), but even just 3%+2s is literally blood lust 3 on demand(!). I'm still not 200% sure, but I'm 95% sure double speed is best (until they nerf distortion). Btw about chaining, with brutal chaining is even weaker. it's actually ridiculous on some low tile density maps, but generally an overkill unless you get matched vs some 1v1 trained survs.

Just a heads up cigar box is actually bugged. So it might actually be better to not use it right now or if you want aura reading on your power to use tattoo’s middle finger Basically if you go into a yellow cloud you see the clowns aura as well for the whole duration of his invigoration regardless of range. It tells survivors where you are and its not worth it right now.

There are plenty of strong add-on combos available which don't use Cigar Box! Behavior making scratch marks brighter has helped a lot with branching out.

Hey, Arinad, I'm really curious, what made you love Clown so much? I've been maining him since day 1 too. I used to play Trapper before Clown existed, but once I saw him, I knew I found my killer for life. I really love carnivals and dark circus themes, like music too, so I knew Clown was perfect.

i think a key takeaway for me is to bring the perks that make the game fun for you. i always equip lethal persuer cause even if only one is not running distortion getting those early hooks are so crucial. and long chases have their benefits cause survivors will try to sandbag you and with STBFL that would net you easy stacks without gen pressure. most survivors can’t stand to see their homies get tunneled so they abandon gen repair to try and make your life hell. toss a pink at all of them lol. if you equip sloppy (which i’ve also learned from you) then that makes their life even more hell heh heh. i really love the entire all out effort you put into these videos. i love breaking them down with you in timestamps and learning what to add to my own clown game.

Arinad is the reason i main clown and why im good w clown. i also love we run different clown styles. one thing i really want to learn is how to counter play distortion. i run the cigar box and middle finger combo a lot plus lethal persuer. but when they have distortion on obviously this can be a problem. i have never played survivor but id like to learn some tips on how to counter it. i think recently i learned they have to earn tokens on it somehow but any tips would be appreciated.

Do I need to tunnel every game to get 3k ? Because if I didn't tunnel they get 4 esc or 2 escape minimum without gen reg perks What do u recommend me as a good build with addons without tunelling and still getting 3 or 2 kill minimum?

I'd probably get rid of Lethal for Corrupt Intervention so you could safely build your stalk early. Zanshin could also be swapped for something else, as well. Coup and Agitation are pretty decent perks though in my opinion for the longer lunges, hooking aggressively, and making the most of your limited t3 duration.

🔥 match Arinad!!! This was an amazing match! I’m really starting to love the sticky soda bottle and cheap gin combo. Playing with cigar box so much can make it hard for me to take off but I’m glad I have been. Definitely don’t “need” cigar box but I don’t want it to feel like I’m relying on it too much.

Non-Cigar Box builds are really great following the recent add-on rework and Clown buffs. I really love Cheap Gin + Sticky Soda bottle in particular! I recommend you also try Garish Makeup Kit and Cheap Gin Bottle, as well.

Hey, nice video, I am actually surprised with agitation and lethal on clown lol, I only use these perks for a two perks nurse only. You still did great with no gen regress perks, whenever I play clown I usually bring deadlock and that’s all (I usually end up getting a 2k or 3k), watching you play make me get better with clown and damn that coup de grace hit on Cheryl was damn beautiful. Btw, have you experienced any bug with clown since the update ? I saw on twitter of a guy like wanting to throw his bottles but it would just not throw, he would click m2 and the bottle would automatically just cancel it, so he couldn’t throw any bottle for the game, he even showed his mouse and all, it would directly cancel, maybe a mouse bug ? (can’t go test it out by myself cuz I can’t play dbd for some times now)

Thank you for the compliments! 🙂That bug has an unknown cause for me and has happened once a few months ago. Other than that, Cigar Box is currently bugged to always give survivors aura reading even if they aren't invigorated.
