Worthless ass video

This is an excellent video, the only one I found showing the inside of this troublesome part and what looks like an easy fix. The door on my dispenser will not open and I needed to see how it reassembled. After seeing this I reassemble the door and it still won't open to release the soap. The spring looks like the new one in the video, yet it gets caught behind the round part with the tab pointing down. I give up and will just throw in the soap tablet after the initial rinse. In addition, the wheels all fell off which I replaced with stainless steel screws, and the pump failed after 1 year. The next dishwasher will not be a Kitchenaid.

Somehow for mine it came with a silver one but didn't fit the "drain to dishwasher" connection it was too big so YMMV I guess?

Add on to that, before emptying your tray remember to clean the filter with warm water vinegar and baking soda

That does not steam vegetables a microwave does not just heat the water no matter what type of vessel you put it in it Cooks the vegetables in the water at the same time it is not cooking just the damn water

At a 7 second frame, you can see a dried trail from the vent hole in the lower left of the screen - it reaches towards the rinse dispenser. Mine does the same. I called Whirlpool customer service and they had no idea what I was talking about. I looked at the reviews of other models with powerdry and saw similar dried trails in the review photos. Do I assume it is a feature or is there an issue with the vent dripping internally? Or is it just extra condensation drying from the vent?

Ice will melt and rejam if you don't let the unit freeze again before you start making ice.

The sponge is glued super tight. That cannot be right if it's meant to be discarded. Some of these videos are not helpful.

Grabbed both sides of the bottom molding after removing the screws and pulled. The plastic snapped. This was a brand new fridge.

The video showed how to fix the error, but what about how to fix the reason the water got in the drip tray? I have that problem. How do I stop the leak? It is coming out the black hoses on each side of the drip tray.

Kithenaid dishwasher was stuck on clean and flashing 8 times then 4. Solution was to drain the drip pan as in this video. Very helpful, was about to call an appliance repair place and I'm sure pay $$$

I didn’t know I could do this until someone commented saying to just put lower power rather than stopping the microwave and melting in increments (common step in recipes)

It may be easy to replace, but the cost of replacing is absolutely absurd. They are taking advantage of people. Apart that should cost a few cents cost about $70 that’s absolutely communism

Mine didn’t have a loose sponge and the one sealed to the back of the small square door would’ve left a sticky residue to remove. So, I figured some units must have a loose sponge and mine didn’t. Was able to pop it back on with a bit of force, but it worked. Was afraid of breaking the door lid at first but it did snap on very tight.

Thanks, this was the clearest video I found. 5 min and the issue was fixed. I was cooking and a bunch of water rolled over the edge of the counter and down on my washer, I guess some how, it accumulated in the drip tray.

Does Kitchen Aid still produce the work bowls? The dowel portion at the bottom of my safety lock has worn down to the point it no longer engages the plunger in the base.

Well, that was a complete waste of my time.
