2nd video I've watched of yours. You just got a new sub my good man! I could tell by your accent and demeanor that you were from the south. I said GA or Bama. You remind me of my buddy from Elberton GA. Down to earth, country, humble with a really good spirit. I can tell whoever raised you did it right. Brought up in the church, and likely from a close knit family. Your light will attract more people to come. It's crazy bright man. Keep that energy! You're truly inspiring, good man with a good heart. See the best in people and trust in a time where it should be crazy to do that. I wish you good luck with the swap, channel, and life in general. I truly believe in you. Wish you a prosperous career in youtubing. I'll be watching every vid from now on! Kind regards from SC!

Sbc is the best budget power and in n/a form it’s hard for a ls to beat without spending a lot of money and rev to 8k but the sbc will make good power at 7k. Plus the cost of tuning and tuners is outrageous! Sbc best budget power. Building a 383 I have like $1500 into it and easily expect make 475-500 ft and hp. Try that with ls good luck.

I'm going through my 1966 Chevy C-20 Pickup Truck that I inherited From my grandma. She bought it brand new and came from the factory with the 327 w/2.02 heads 4bbl carb matted to a TH400 Auto trans. I had an '84 S-10 2wd Blazer that I stuffed a 383 stroker into it. That thing was crazy fast, that was my baby. Funny, now I drive a Honda Accord and the engine in it has been affectionately dubbed "The Baby LS" by the tuner world. I can see why too, I already have 270k miles on it and it still runs like a top!

The small block Chevy is compatible in making power with the LS. Especially if you're changing heads. There's plenty of videos on youtube that proves it. I love the LS but the small block Chevy is sensational.

With today's parts, 550-600hp pretty easy with a good 350 NA. I've built a bunch of them.

Hard to beat old school. Some folks just don't understand. SBC can be built to smoke pretty much anything. Bigblock Chevys are still king.

We built a 350 engine for my Cutlass and I drove it for 21 years. I pulled it and installed it in a squarebody and it is still on the road today.

The LS is just all around convenient, it’s affordable, reliable and makes big power for cheap! At the end of the day people build their cars to their liking, and props to those guys regardless of whatever is under the hood.
@PullsTv5 күн бұрын
This is my exact thoughts
@thereluctantgearhead454416 сағат бұрын
@@AUTOMOBILZ Not everyone wants to be like everyone else. Plenty of choices for high powered builds in other brands too. I've ran mid 10s in the 1/4 with a built 4.1 Buick V6 in a 86 Buick GN. Drove it everyday. On the street, it was a monster. Beat all kinds of different engines with that unit. Lots of potential in them Buick engines with boost. There's other shit that can be worked with also. Plenty of choices besides the LS. I prefer bigblock Chevys myself.
@AUTOMOBILZ15 сағат бұрын
@@thereluctantgearhead4544 it’s not about everyone being the same, it’s about what’s practical for the average Joe Schmo. The average person is not a engine builder, they just want something affordable, reliable and easy. I’m pretty sure most of these guys would love to order a big block crate motor if they could afford it, or build an engine in their garage if they knew how……….but the average guy dose not have deep pockets or know how to build engines so the convenience of the LS fits the bill. If someone builds a non LS engine that’s perfectly fine too, but theirs know need to knock the LS.
