Tunnel open in Texas. So far we have only seen Cyber Trucks but you would think they would also let Y's use it too, especially if they drive themselves. Cameras are being calculated during the production process.

I imagine that the Optimus bot would have 3 different myself, household, factory, and heavy duty. It would be awesome to have him load split wood onto a trailer or truck bed after I split the wood, once the trailer or truck bed is full, I'll have Optimus ride with me back to the house to unload and it'll repeat until the job is done, talk about taking time and effort out of the equation

Happy Birthday! I am a few years older than you and I watched all the space launches and also thought we would be spreading out into the solar system by the time I was an adult. I read Gerard K O'Neal's The High Frontier and was convinced that was the future and it was coming soon. Sadly the Space Shuttle, as amazing as it was, wasn't up to the task and it has taken far longer than I thought at the time. Watching Starship launch has rekindled my enthusiasm for space.

Now that Giga Tx has completed the cybertruck birthing canal tunnel Tx is poised & ready to have those trucks too drive themselves thru the birthing canal tunnel to the outbound lot. NOW, do you suppose the simi too, will self drive out of the new factory building and park themselves too? I will bet YES. !

You think this is FSD or Waymo-like? This seems like a program sub-routine. Curious how they initiate the program? No one is in the car to tap the screen.

Happy post-birthday, John. Yes, the tunnel at Giga Texas is now functional. Cybertruck (with drivers) have been using the tunnel. No, the cars don't just pick a random open parking spot. They go to the correct place to be picked up by the appropriate truck. This was confirmed during the annual financial results presentation that just occurred.

Ditto on migraine flashing symptoms without serious headaches. Aggravating but not the problem that many other sufferers have. That said, it’s still aggravating to have the flashing on a daily basis.

Does anyone vaguely remember Musk's manipulation of FSD promotional vids that were released several years ago to which engineers admitted were rigged? What's different? Were those cars in the parade controlled remotely,? Do you really think that none of that promotional video was "real" C'com, man My Y running 13.2.2 can find addresses within a block. I'm more than a bit skeptical. You know a couple of Muskateer KZbinrs that had stated that FSD, as configured, is not adequate, but what the hell., go fast and break things.

I'm telling you, you can. At least on a lightly traveled state road, straight as an arrow as much was on an old RR bed. I accidently fell asleep and woke up seven miles closer to my home. Seconds before turning off the state road. I have never fallen asleep at the wheel before such as going off the road or had an accident. I was pulled over a couple times by SP. They'd have me take a few turns around the bat van before I headed back off. Not once. So I didn't ever expect I would. But I am mostly a passenger in my car now. Most of the time. It was weird driving for a week in Florida in a gas suv. Including a marathon twelve hour drive one day.

Oh, I forgot to mention the twenty five years I actually worked two fulltime jobs. F&G by day and batman by night. I saved thousands of maternal colony bats by starting to do exclusions at night. Prior to me starting the Bat Business, there was a different solution to bats in houses. My boss, the chief of the Game Division. Yes, it was still a Game Division when I started. The chief would go out with a member of the Pesticide Control Board...and certify that it was an actual colony. Then a permit was issued to use DDT to kill them all. Maternal colonies I should add. I just learned from an old friend who was in the business for decades, tell me how they killed the colony. He said they'd load one of those big old red fire extinguishers with DDT and pressurize it. Then they'd simply just slide the attic hatch open enough to get the nozzle in, and let er rip! They made a lot of money doing that he said.

Each car is told where to go in terms of parking slot so that it is ready for pickup for each customer. The calibration is done as part of the assembly. This results in cars getting to their spaces with NO accidents or damage, but it also results in displacement of those 25 to 30 drivers. Next comes displacement the drivers of the tunnel system in Las Vigus.

Elon banned me from twitter after I reposted a thread of a Tesla that spontaneously exploded in someone's garage and burned half the house down. I don't trust him, why does he need to silence me unless he's hiding something? 😡🤢

Elon released this video to get the investors to think FSD unsupervised is right around the corner, to detract from yesterday’s poor sales numbers. It’s easy to drive cars unmanned down a one lane highway for employees only.

I worked at Rock Island Arsenal towards the end of the Vietnam War. M109 howitzers were rebuilt in a huge building there. The last station on the line used a target on the wall to boresight the cannon barrel/sight system. I imagine it is some form of this where a cell has various camera targets that are then referenced to the vehicle position and software locked into relative position (calibrated).

No big deal. Mining trucks have been taking loads autonomously for over 15 years, fully loaded, in an enclosed environment. In an enclosed environment, with no people and barely any other vehicles, its incredible that it has taken so long after Elon promised an automatic drive across the USA in 2016.

This guy must have not been out of the country much. There are plenty of cars in China driving autonomously on actual roads with real car traffic, moped, bike and pedestrian. I wouldn't call that no other company can do this. Maybe no American company can do this other than Testla.

Eventually very little human labor will be needed in the production of a Tesla or in the supply line. They will be produced and delivered with embodied AI and fsd..That's when you see margins explode.

Hope you get better. Bad cold going around these days. I caught it just before Thanksgiving. I eventually (cold lasted a freaking month!) coughed so hard that I might have caused an abdominal bleed due to tearing. I will be having that checked out.

I have been advocating this for months. It is a money saver. But for FSD it is not a big thing. Just like in We Robots, the route is geofenced. I have been calling for FSD from GigaTexas to the rail yard a gang of miles away.

The worst thing you can do for a cold is visit an allopathic "doctor". They are controlled by big Pharma and as such they will not give you good advice. They won't tell you about all the amazing non big-Pharma treatments that will lay a cold low in no time. They won't tell you to take Vitamin C of Vitamin D3 or Ivermectin or any of the many herbs that heal colds. I'm 79 and I haven't had a cold in 30 years that I didn't quickly vanquish using these techniques. In short--read, read read, and stay away, away, from Allopathic medicine.
