Don't worry, man. I've been where you're at many times now. Life can easily feel overwhelming. Luckily I'm currently not there. Like you said, the best way to deal with this is to appreciate small things, do what you love, etc. But I can't say the same about the girl thing. Honestly, I've kinda been in a "relationship" before, but it was not serious at all. But, again, like you said: just let her go. It's gonna be better for mental health, even if just a little bit. I've felt like a failure too, in fact, I constantly do. It is one of the worst feelings ever. Honestly, I have a good reason to feel like that. But in my opinion, You don't. You're trying to make better content by being your true self instead of faking. You're also not afraid of sharing your true emotions, unlike me. Appearance doesn't really matter most of the time. What's inside is the most important. You're far from being a failure, man. Now, I don't wanna be that guy, but if you want to, you could also try getting closer to God. It most likely won't immediately help, but over time, things could get better. It did help for me. An important thing to remember is that Christianity is a relationship with God, not a religion. Again, sorry for turning religious, but as a Christian it is also my duty to spread God's word. And ultimately, the decision is yours. I'll be honest: I can easily see you growing a huge channel. Just try your best not to overwork yourself. Keep up the good work. May God guide you on your journey.

19 year old here feeling the same way. i have this goal of being a streamer and working a dead end job and "manning up" and joining a trade around my mid twenties if it doesnt work out. life is unpredictable and thats what we all must realize. i cried to my mother a couple days ago because the combination of heartbreak, worrying for my friends wellbeing and the same empty, uselessness that we all have felt at some point. it's hard to give good advice since im living through it as well. i think society pushes us, especially men, to be successful, to take after the previous generations glory and prowess. you have to tell yourself its okay to slow down, while at the same time disciplining and planning your future out; everything in moderation. i have a goal to travel to europe soon and experience another culture and country for a week or two. setting goals and making small, noticeable progress can help. ive noticed myself forcibly becoming less lazy. dropped something on the ground, pick it up dont leave it. tell your parents you love them, tell your friends you love them. dont be afraid to learn something because its "too hard." society might expect you to be in control of your life at our age, but we must realize our own significance and live the life WE want to live, not how society wants. but never live the life you live now, always try to change for the better, live the idealized life you see your perfect self living. i hear your story and it speaks to me, i and many others relate to it but we have to take deep breaths and focus on our goals. nothing is promised for us, but the Lord will always guide us. God bless you.

I try my hardest to do things but I just can't, I take the easy way and play video games eating bad food with a terrible posture. When I was younger I thought being 17/18 would be so cool, but now I wish I was younger again. Who knows what we are doing on this planet though, we are a flying rock created from nothing, if your happy thats all that matters, lifes short make the most of it with your family, I actually think jobs are stupid and a waste of time but thats my opinoun lol, be happy and make memories. good luck

"You are the master of your thought. The molder of your character, and the maker and shaper of your condition, environment, and destiny" ~ James Allen. I just turned 34 in June, and I feel very similar, I always regretted not serving in the armed forces. At least you took that leap brother, you didn't fail. You learned something about yourself. Just experience what you can when you can. Hope this finds you well.

It comes with time. I think that something you can do is change your surroundings, maybe take some group courses and meet new people. It is important to take care of yourself. Fix those eating habits, sleep schedule, maybe take on some kind of sport or creative hobby. All those things need to be done gradually, though. Religion seems like a good thing for you to start working on yourself. Praying is a great way to connect with God and reflect on yourself. When it comes to financial stability it also comes with time. You really can't have it figured out when you're 18. Again, you have to do things gradually and be patient. There is no shortcut to success. You have to start somewhere even if it is walmart or smth that you do not consider interesting for now. You can always learn new things and work on yourself it's only a matter of time and patience When you age you understand that there always is a way out of many situations. Struggling is part of the process. Failing is part of getting better. Those feelings you have right now are okay and you are, of course, allowed to feel them. You can always try again and there is no shame in that. Go to that bootcamp you had left one more time and really try to get it done.

Reading the Bible’s tough man. It’s a lot of knowledge, I’m not the best with it either. But something that’s helped me is listening to the sermon on the mount. Then I read it. Don’t force it, in my experience if you do that then it’s coming from the wrong place. You’re a smart guy, and things are tough in this world. There’s always gonna be good and bad, but keep moving forward. We all have that strength. I’ll pray for you man.

@Mr.Monkey20003 ай бұрын
@@thekidsterling This video was sent from God then lol because we were completely the same person (aside from you doing bootcamp). This year, I turned 18 around graduation, and I also ate bad, stop working out, had no job, didn't go out, felt ashamed all of the time, and really had no goals or motion. I just sat alone in my room playing games and going to bed around 6 am. And I remember telling myself that in order to fix myself, the one thing I needed to do is to "find out what I wanted to do in life." <- that is a really big mistake, because what you are basically doing is waiting to get to the finish line in an obstacle course and not just going forward through the obstacles. The first obstacle I got through (literally last week) was getting my first job as a groundskeeper. And dude, ALL of our problems I listed above went right the fuck away literally day one. That sounds like hyperbole but no I mean it, day one it all went away. The combination of making money, spending all day working, and a MASSIVE confidence boost, made me stop staying up late, start learning how to shop, started working out and eating healthy again, and I started playing tennis with some friends to spend some time out. Right now I'm taking my sweet time thinking about what I want to go to school for, because I plan to work here and stack money until summer where I'll probably have the future figured out by then. So as far as getting a job, the first problem you need to solve now is your sleep schedule, like you need to fucking jump on that shit because you are mentally held back in ways you don't realize because of it. The second thing is transportation; If you have a car great, but if you don't then see if your parents are willing to drive you, or if you can walk because idk if you realize this by now or not, but you NEED a fuckin job to get started in life. And the third thing is actually getting a job; So, if you have a friend or family member who works somewhere then that job should be your priority because they can refer you for a job which increases the chance of an interview to like 95% and the chance of getting the job to like 80%, while also giving them a referral bonus to their pay so they are encouraged to help you in the first place. With this method there typically no work on your end for getting the job until the interview but you might get phone calls so keep your phone off of silent mode and keep it on you. If that method is not an option, then the correct way to get a job on your own is to apply on indeed.com to jobs in your area and then wait about a week to do a follow up call or email about the position. If the referral method is an option, then that should be your priority in my opinion, but if you can't or don't want to then by all means get one on your own but expect it to be fucking aids. Oh yeah, and if you are doing any drugs then your job application is as good as garbage because most employers do drug tests and a positive result of thc at the very least will void your application. And really the only other problem I can think of is do you have supportive parents that won't kick you out? (when you get a job.)

Don't be hopeless, failure is on the trail to success. We all have a resource, it's important and we can't get it back, time. So spend time well. The mind looks for the bad and ignores the good. Take a jump bro. Wasted time is a blessing a lot of people don’t get. You got a chance to be behind and that’s insane you got some breathing room. But now you got the itch to be better. Whatever you did in the past is meaningless. You don’t need anything you don’t already have. Find a challenging path and accept the new. You got it

if you’re only 18 you truly do have your whole life ahead of u. basically no one has their entire life and financial situation figured out right after they get out of high school. i would put an emphasis on challenging and disciplining yourself with things like a job and consistently working out. u have way more time to figure things out than you think, and it sounds like you have supportive people around you that can help you through difficulties. remember that the first step to these things is the hardest and best of luck to you on your journey
