It’s good to see that Bahamas will be running on the Nene Valley Railway again. I wish I could be over in the UK to see it as I am a member of the NVR.

very comprehensivley covered there John, as well as the 'guest' you managed the 'pretty pendo' too. I hope you were on the edge of that field at Dorden ... the farmer can get a bit 'irritable' lol. Regards, Brian.
@GreatBritishRailways13 күн бұрын
Thanks Brian and as for the farmer's field there is a designated footpath clearly shown on Google Earth. You cannot see the path at the moment but I was not far from it. As for the "guest" I thought I would use some intrigue rather than upload another video. Regards, John

@GreatBritishRailways1 I've never had an issue and have chatted with him but I was filming near the gate one day and a photter was only 15 feet from me and got the full wrath . It was funny because I suggested he moved there to get away from my tripod..... Had to make a smart exit 😂.

Saw this on Sunday morning pulling out of S-u-A station. Does anyone know if she came in tender first and run round at the station, or was ‘towed’ backwards by the diesel, as there is no where to turn the loco?
@GreatBritishRailways17 күн бұрын
They usually come into Stratford tender first and run round. They don't usually have a diesel in the consist. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Regards, John

Thankyou for letting us relive the actual experience of a speeding train bearing down on us. Contempory fad is to use an extreme zoom to make it look like the loco is busting a gut to travel at walking speed on wonky track then playing with it last minute to make it impossible to judge its real speed.
