Austin, I don't know who decides which way locomotives face on the SVR. In my opinion it makes little difference to the passengers but obviously the best photographic opportunities are North facing, There needs to be a balance. Thanks for watching and for your comment. Regards, John

It’s on the railway until the Autumn Steam gala in two weeks I believe before returning to either the Keighley and worth valley railway or back on the mainline

Unsure about how long Bahamas will be on the SVR but would have thought it will leave after the Autumn Gala later on this month. Regards, John
