Always swing over the the same hole when you put the plug back. That iron could be masking your target.

Good vid, best on the internet. My problem is that can't get the bolt to the rear seat belt removed. It is stuck pretty good. I even sprayed 10D40 to see if it will loosen any. Did you have a difficult time with yours? d

I like to use it more around water and rocks, the only beaches around here are state park lakes and the sand is only about 8 inches then it is hardpack. Occasionally find jewelry. I just don't go there until winter when crowds are gone.

The velcro glue on the camper didn’t hold and also faded. Maybe 1.5 years. There is probably a better velcro for outdoors out there, or maybe figure a snap or magnetic system to hold it.

Thanks. I had fun doing this one, that coil really helps for this kind of dig. I wasn't looking for anything deep and I could find and dig it quick. But the reality of the hobby is the evil can slaw and the stinkin' zincolns. But I did find some jewelry, the turquoise ring ended up being silver.

@@J777Adventures I don't us my LG15 enough. I really need to use it more, but I seem to be able to get the LG30 dialed in on tot lots with recovery speed and sensitivity where I overload on poles etc and can usually pick up coins etc. I'm sure I still miss a lot though. Keep these videos coming! Im across the water in Southern Indiana, I'd love to come that way and do a joint hunt some day.

Thanks - I didn't think I would have anything to talk about if I made a vid like this, LOL. I guess I talk to myself a lot, haha. Yes that poison weed will grow about 6 foot tall so I know they will get it out of there before the warm weather, but it is very dangerous. The bumps are like poison ivy but they stay for weeks and it burns and scars. Poison hemlock is nasty.

@J777Adventures

I have mixed feelings on it. I didn't think I was making the finds in 1.13 that I was in 1.09. But I wanted to try the accupointer through my headphones, so I installed 1.13. In my latest video, I went back to 1.09 and made some good finds. It could just be the area I was at, it could be the update. Just try it out and see, you can always go back to 1.09.

Thanks I will have to try it. I really don't have too much problems even with the factory defaults and iron, but I have noticed a significant drop in good finds with v1.13, coins sound iffy now. I switched one of my Legends back to 1.09 and started making finds again. Have you noticed that?

@@J777Adventures when. I bought mine legend it had the 1.07 update I got a great deal with the older stock legends $499 the only difference I can see is the fiberglass top shift my son has the newer version legend and we both do well he does seem to find more quarters then me running field mode but just recently he missed a Mercury dime that I was able to get on his side of a 2 acre lot I usually take the right side and he takes the. Left you no how hard it is to hunt next to a person using the same machine we are both on the 1,11 update I won’t buy another Nokia pinpointer my wife bought me one a few years ago ago paid good money and it broke in less then a year I recently found a company that has some really great PP for $32 bucks it also comes in yellow which is great because I have a tendency to always lose mine in the huge farm fields lol

Thanks. When I first got my Legend a few years ago, I just used the factory settings and only changed the sensitivity. I dug almost everything until I started learning the sounds and numbers. I discriminate what I dig now mostly just due to time, but the best learning is just to put hours on and watch vids. @mentalmetal and @paystreaksuperfreak have really good vids on learning the features of the Legend. Happy Hunting!

Yes, I still am having a little trouble adjusting to the v1.13, I have put a lot of hours in on the other versions, but it just seems to me so far, that this version is not producing the sounds and results I am used to. A lot of the places I detect have also been pounded out over the years because we have a local club in the area as well. So silver is few and far between.

Kinda heavy, but works well. I also have a grave digger, but the angle on the shovel head tends to hold clay dirt on it when digging in my area.
