This audio quality is insane and that voice is so clean even for such an (at this point) older recording! Thanks so much for the history-catching upload

The Beatles can’t hold a candle to The Who, nor can The Stones!!
@ferm81033 күн бұрын
The beatles were studio stuff really, when the bands you've mentioned moved wider the beatles stayed put and chucked it, wrong regarding the stones btw, they were genuinely always electric live since 62 onwards, they were genuinely the band that lifted the live touring game onto the levels it's now become, Townshend has never been shy of his own admiration of the stones, it didn't get bigger than them, for a reason , they were the biggest show on the planet, still adore the who performances of the era

Outdoor concerts so primitive in 1970! Look at the lighting on stage hardly any? Only follow spot lights!
@JimWelsh-f6l23 күн бұрын
This is 1970 and listen to these guys. No rock band sound like the who. No band came close to them. Am not sure but I think this was the first rock live album. Am 65 years old and I saw the who 5 times. They are truly the greatest rock band if all time. And I saw all the big rock bands back in the 70s. Growing up in north Philly being a teenager in the 70s. They are still great live. Pete Townsend is a musical genius shit he's a genius

From Wildwood n never heard this song before. Dont get me wrong i like Wildwood Days by Bobby Rydell but honestly this song is definitely more to the vibe of our island then and now. Im definitely going to talk to the tourism department and see what we can do to at least get this song the recognition it deserves by Wildwwod

I was not 18 yet and my friend and I were refused entry to see them live in Dallas in the 70s. TSEC was the place. I bought every single album and played them as loud as I could. My best friend and I grew up with this music. I am proud to admit I live in Dallas Texas and will always remember those great days. Thank you KZbin for making it possible to re-live those days. Peace to all you hippies.

A certain kind... of love, I'd say Is this for me, every night Your love sets me alive And I know, i know it's real, coz it's what I feel, it's what I feel... And loving you the way I do Makes everything seem right again And when you're there I know you just can't tell the time Within your heart it's just not right it's just not right, it's just not right And so our love I see in you The things today, the things we do And when you're there I know You just can't see the time within your heart I know it's real, it's what I feel And loving you the way I do Makes everything seem right again And when you're there I know I know you just can't see All the time of day I know you're mine, and all the time

Growing up with this song as a kid in a foreign country and not understanding english, I'd always thought Gabriel was just doing weird dances. Not until I was in my 30s that I understand what the dance is all about. Love this song nevertheless.

One of my favorite live videos. This is amazing. The live talent and raw emotion is incredible. Maynard and his black demon eyes kill me. JFC seeing the comments from 9+ years ago. I’m hoping people still sought this out today like I did. A masterpiece of a live performance
