JUST WOW. What a genius and passionate artist. I saw this concert at the time and the LED displays, the visuals, George's vocals... it was sonic perfection on a kind of spiritual level. This song was one of my favorites and still is Precious to me. May George Michael's memory & inner beauty always live on in our hearts

My very, very favorite George Michael song. Deep. Poetic. As famous as he was, he garnered only a fraction of the recognition he earned by virtue of his many talents. He sings to us of a double life, neither of which wholly claims his soul, his essence. He admits to his addiction to adulation and money, but tells us that is hollow - that is not enough for his soaring soul. He knows that addiction is not a source of salvation. I love this man. I pray we meet in The Hereafter, for that will mean we were both saved in spite of ourselves.
