TISWAS- the greatest kids tv show for adults ever!! i was at the old ATV studios recently and its sad to see it crumbling away but i stood where the gang got soaked. i also went to some of these venues in the heart of birmingham many of which are still there. awesome ATV show. cheers

I had a TISWAS annual. In the letters page there was one saying "I love TISWAS but my dad says he'd like to see more of Sally James' chest" The note underneath said "Your dad is in for a treat if he turns to page 78" The book only had 76 pages.

Filmed in Birmingham Broad Street at the start of the 80s, in front of Baskerville House, using a fountain which has now been replaced by Centenary Square. And the roof of ATV Studios which used to stand opposite, where Tiswas was recorded.

I really, really, REALLY want Bob Carolgees' trousers. I am 22 and grew up on my dad's TISWAS VHS. It's a shame not more of it survived, kids TV now could do with learning something from TISWAS. Who decided it all needs to be educational and safe?

Wow. I was the perfect age to watch this, but live(d) in the USA - dammit!. I guess the US kiddie show guys shot their collective wad with the Banana Splits. We imported lots of other ITV shows back then, why not this one. Ah, well...

I work with someone who went to see the recording of the Tiswas Reunited show last year - I am officially jealous of that guy. Mind you, he only went along because his missus was on the show many years ago. Sally James is 100% fit here as indeed she still is today! All together now... 'This is the song we lovers of water sing' I CAN'T HEAR YOU!!! Haha!
