Another point to add on, with Germany, you should probably start mild way before (jan 1937) simply because you want to make good use of memo billed before the start of the war. It is 20% more production in total.

I think you disrespect armor a bit too much, it's efficiency depends on delta between piercing and armor which scales with admiral skills, ship xp and various bonuses like doctrine and such. You should have tested armor with a good defence admiral and probably higher ship xp.

After watching this video I started an USA campaing just to test what was said here, since I never really understood naval game and never cared about it really. And the results were in the very first battle against Japanese : 1 lost destroyer and 8 CV naval bombers on my side VS 1 BC, 4 CA, 7 CL and 41 DD on their side. Wow. Just. Wow!

Sir, this is a SERIOUS suggestion: you REALLY should apply for a job at Paradox and use this channel as your resume. They need you. Badly. I hate how tedious it is to find the meta in this game, because it doesn't ever reflect reality. Doing "historic" things is basically always awful from a gameplay perspective. I honestly hate how many options there are in this game when there is always clearly 1 option that's better than all others, that should be the only option. The fact that air wings wait weeks to do missions when you have them assigned is fucking ridiculous, every wing should be flying at least 2 missions a day. Air Force is just way too complicated to be worth it anymore, fuck it, I'd rather just invest a little IC into AA and never make a single plane because they fucking suck and don't even operate when you have them assigned to.

Something does change…the resources required go down by “recycling” the old equipment. You would do this in situations where you are up against resource limitations….not being able to produce latest equipment but can convert.

There’s a very cheesy way of doing this too 1. Park your army in Königsberg/East Prussia with a fallback line, WHOLE army. 2. Get 50 pp, justify on France 3. Declare when justification is finished 4. Allow France to capitulate you, and then you will be a FREE democratic nation (not a puppet + kashubia and silesia stay with you, also not supervised) 5. Bypass Rhineland focus, then do everything else you’d normally do as Germany (i.e. takeover europe lol) 6. Form EU!

U can also delcare war on frnace and lose on purpose. They flip u to democracy and you can still you rhineland.

No where does is say that reliabilty has anything to do wi9th combat. theo nly thing that changes is tanks lost to attrition and tanks recovered. the hiogher the reliabilty the lower the losses if things get mobile. in a one fight comparison it doens't matter. it matters onec you start pushing the soviets in barabarossa.

I like having 5 full development lines for repair and rail construction. As Germany this is. You can constantly construct rail lines to level 5 as you push into Soviet territory all across the lines. Never running out of supply. Plus it gives you capacity to upgrade radars, build synthetic factories. I think this raw number approach really undervalues civs.

I think they would work differently if you put them on a larger division.

Put the Kriegsmarine strike force on English Channel and Eastern North Sea 4. Put the subs on the Atlantic to the Bay of Biscay, English Channel and Western Approaches 5. Ready your naval orders and put one naval invasion on Dover and another 2 naval invasions going to the ports behind Dover for an encirclement 6. Change the Kriegsmarine to Convoy Escort 7. Put the rest of your Air Force into Southern England, and leave the bombers and 700 fighters behind 8. Flood into the UK! 9. Get rid of your Kriegsmarine's missions, and your done And you've successfully screwed over Britain
