I read that this hold, combined with 36 breaths, where you inhale and count 1, exhale and count 2, etc. Is very effective. In my experience, it works like a charm.
@flowsforlife4 күн бұрын
Yes, absolutely! 36 breaths are very powerful. actually, you count on the exhale, so inhale think AND, exhale think 1, then inhale think AND, exhale think 2 etc until you get to 36

Today I was starting to develop a headache. It usually turns into a migrane. I suffer from this condition since about 5 years ago.And today for the first time, I used this technique with Jin Shin Jyutsu for the headache. At first, I felt that the headache was not getting worse. After a few more minutes, it was gradually getting a bit better. I fell asleep (maybe half an hour) still holding my hand in that position. When I woke up, the headache was almost gone. It still felt tense but I could walk around again and even felt thirsty and hungry. Thank you so much for saving me from having a horrible migrane! It really helped ❤

Interesting that the middle finger is the finger where he hold anger? In the west, when we get upset and angered by another person we often give them the middle finger. I’m not saying this to be sarcastic! I just find the connection uncanny

try them both and BE your own testimony - maybe sometimes it works best one way and maybe sometimes it works best the other way...

I’ve just heard of this fairly recently, from a couple people in my new neighbourhood. I am a healing facilitator/energy practitioner. I was originally taught Jikiden (meaning originally taught) Reiki; also a Japanese healing practice. I don’t ascribe to labelling or sticking to ways of thinking or doing anymore. I find things work keeping it as simple as possible. I do laying on of hands for myself as a way of being. I discovered that just in looking in others eyes I have helped some heal…and perhaps myself as well. 💝

we do these things very naturally even before we know it is called Jin Shin Jyutsu or something else. that is because we are listening to our innate wisdom that tells us - I need you to put your hands here or here, or hold a finger etc.

it's wonderful when you start feeling how the body responds to the Jin Shin Jyutsu flows! Because everyone has tensions in different places, each experience will be different when practicing the same flow
