A beautifel watch ruined by the absurd relief valve on the left side! Divers say perhaps 10 ppl in the world would actually need this valve. If Omega was smart they would offer a way for customers to unscrew the valve and replace it with a simple water-proof cover. Far better yet is to eliminate that valve entirely which would make the watch more balanced from a front view. I bet many other potential buyers, like myself, have the ability to buy it but go else where due to that valve!

Na. The bracelet is an icon. This was my first omega and I wanted the thick bracelet with the iconic name on the huge clasp. Cant say green goes with it and if you put a rubber on it you gotta have the deployant version. Going to try the mellanessa bracelet next

Ah, for a watch enthusiast 2pc is a hard choice. I have a 6x core collection, but I do agree the Omega is a must, but I'm not sure about your OP. My choice out of my collection if I had to choose two pc would be the Rolex Batman and Grand Seiko Shun Bun because Batman can technically do anything, even diving/swimming and GS would be more of a dress watch with date function to me is a must 😂

Hey! I have the same watch for about a year now. It is my first mechanical watch, before i only owned g-shocks. I still absolutely love it and wear it daily. My biggest complain is the crown, for me it's a pain to screw it down. I'm not sure if i accidentally stripped the crown and that's the reason why it's so difficult to screw it down or if it's normal and i'm simply too stupid to do it the right way lol. Like i said it's my first and only watch with a crown and therefore i can't compare it to another watch. Do you have some advice? Would really appreciate it.

Cheap nato strap gang. In reality, if its not black, they all get dirty. So a $200 strap on a $100 Vostock is stupid imo.

Put it back on the bracelet! You’ll be surprised how great it looks and how awesome it feels. When I got mine a few years ago I took it off the bracelet (all the watch reviewers seemed to have hated it), and got the OEM black rubber strap, but I put it back on the bracelet a few weeks ago and I’m amazed how great it looks and feels. And my wife thinks it looks “handsome” and “masculine,” which sold me on it immediately!

Just got this watch from a great Japan seller. Agree. It is a great looking watch. I found the bracelet to be very solid and comfortable. It does seem out of place for a field watch. May try it with a NATO or a single pass strap.

I have two : first I bought a replica I liked so much that I went for original . Irony is I like wearing replica more , it’s more comfortable. Anyway , there’s no difference between the two except for the engraving on the back cover with serial numbers. Colours, precision , crystal - absolutely the same . So I keep the genuine tissor prx at home because I like replica more , go figure . Who would have thought.

400$ isn't really "non-expensive" in a lot of people's books, but to be fair, watch collecting is usually a VERY expensive hobby.

I love the polar dial, but to be fair (in my opinion) that bracelet makes a lot of watches look great. So not sure if its the perfect combo, but it looks great!

I do like the rubber strap - but the rubber strap on the Planet Ocean, with the clasp, is superior - and I don't know why you cannot get that strap on the Seamaster too. I was literally sitting in an AD asking for this on that - nope. Agree with you on the date complication - I think it belongs. Thanks for the review!
