Our posties drive up from their sorting office in a van, then park outside our house and then do their immediately local deliveries before moving the van on. They use big rubber bands to hold batches of envelopes together but for decades have been more than a little careless about dropping those bands. Our neighbours probably think I'm excessively fastidious (or just plain weird!) in picking them up ... but you folk will likely realise why I do it!!! 🤔🤣

Ag tires, or bar tires, work well on grass. Doesn’t tear up the sod, and doesn’t mash the grass down. I’ve considered putting bar tires on the front of my John Deere x590. Also, i have 1:07 cub cadet that I push snow with, bar tires work good. I’ve considered putting same on front, to give better steering with snow blade on. I ordered my jd x590 with bar/ ag tires.

The ag tires or bar tires work good for grass. They ride on the bars and not mash grass down. Better traction and yet not spin and tear up grass. Plus they look tractor like! I’ve seen bar tires on fron for same reason, not mask grass down. Also provides better steering if have snow blade on front. Does slide sideways as much.
@dianasimon2060
@dianasimon2060 Ай бұрын
Correction: doesn’t slide sideways with steering if have snow blade on front pushing snow. Turf tires spin and tear up grass.

In past twenty ears I have bought two new John Deere lawn tractors. I ordered them with bar or ag tires.

They now make a bar tire for ztr and these lawn tractors. The bars have less of a corner on them, yes gives good traction and no grass tear up.

Suggestion: instead up using rubber bands, which can leave an indentation on the leather, get a thick sock and put your boot in it. Works great!

Can the battery be charged through the inflator or do I have to buy a charger? Pretty moronic if they sell it with a battery but no charger.

Have a pair of Lands End shoes that I've had for 20 years. The sole completely separated. I previously tried another glue and it didn't work at all. Tried the glue in this video and have worn the shoes 2 times to trim and cut grass and no separation at all. In fact the repair looks as if they had never been repaired. Thanks so much for your video.

Epoxy will kill you, especially anything with marine applications. All of it causes permanent cumulative lung scarring. The chemicals will get in your lungs and can keep doing damage until they break down enough over weeks or months; if they ever break down at all. This stuff is not for your arts and crafts or flooring, its a highly toxic chemical for bonding fiberglass for shipbuilding and wind turbine blades. Totalboat doesn't even have readily accessible SDS for their products yet they will show people how to make epoxy charcuterie boards with marine grade epoxy. They should be sued out of millions for this. Previous generations had lead, asbestos, etc. We have epoxy.

Mine squeaked right out of the box. I heard yours squeaking too. It doesn’t have a lifetime warranty it has a lifetime service agreement if you take the time to fill it out. The squeaking can be silenced with some oil if you pry the small round cover off the back of the motor. (No need to remove the torx screws) The motor is brushed and fairly noisy. The alignment of the blade assembly to the shaft is a bit wobbly. The rest of the design seems durable enough. I don’t expect this to last. There are tons of 1 star reviews about the squeaking. I think is has a poorly designed motor assembly but time will tell. I have a bunch of Rigid batteries so I was hoping it would last a while. I use it in my house too so being quiet is an issue for me. On a jobsite it is probably fine. It moves a fair amount of air. A 9Ah battery lasts pretty much all day on high. (Sorry, I didn’t time it.). For the retail price I would have hoped for a brushless motor, better bearings and blade alignment.
