Great video, but can you tell me what lense you used to shoot the football game, please? I'm looking to buy a camera to shoot pickle-ball games, and this camera is slightly more expensive than my $700 budget. Do you have any other more affordable suggestions? The camera will be static, on a tripod, positioned at a distance that will allow the audience to see the court in its entirety from baseline to baseline with a TV perspective. Please let me know. I think this would be a great addition to my camera lineup. I have the Sony A7IV and FX30 but neither are great in low light. I can see myself using this camera for night games and indoor games.

Interesting. I will give your settings a try. I typically use 5 for transition speed & locked on (1) when filming hockey and it works great. Here’s my reason why. I shoot in horizontal and have a 9:16 frame which I typically try to keep whoever I’m filming in that box because 90% of the time my content is going in social media. I use Center spot focus and this allows me to nail focus 90% of the time.

Gday E! I’m running a tamron 18-400 lens on a canon 90d and it has trouble focusing around the 300+ focal ledge @1080 50p. Any ideas if this can be adjusted on canon?

What Camera should I buy if I only want to take pictures. I love Martial arts and often film and try to take good pictures. But combat sports like kick boxing and taekwondo make it very hard to take good pictures. I am fine with taking videos with my IPhone. Would be very helpful if you could recommend me cameras that take fast pictures

Question can Variable ND filters be useful for kit lens such as canon 70-200mm, F/Stop 5.6? I notice when I film Football mid-day the highlights are over exposed, and the shadows are too dark at the same time. I know filming away from the sun is key as well adjusting the setting.

What about Tamron 18-300mm F/3.5-6.3 Di III-A compared to the Tamron 17-70mm I’m debating on which one is a better lens? To go with my Zv-E10 ii

Great slowmo footage. With the cooler, can you record a whole basketball game in 120p slowmo? (of course, pausing during breaks/timeouts). The camera is back on sale for $1898 as of Jan21'25.
