Always use a tripod! Why? So I don't have stabilise in post and to keep my horizons level. It saves so much time in the editing process.

I use a monopod with a fluid video head. It allows me to be mobile with steady shots and holds the weight of my cam and atmost ninja v. Thinking about adding a dtap battery to the equation to power everything.

Do you have IBIS on when you’re shooting from a tripod?

My IBIS is always on. I don’t see a reason or a situation where it would make sense to turn it off.

recently heard, if your footage is still jittery. Turn all stabilization of crank shutter to 1/200 and use Catalyst Browse to stabilize in post.

I stopped using tripods, half because I like to be more mobile (if you move fast enough you get your own cheering section) and half because everything around here is done in the dark so I'm usually on an F2.8 lens so I'm not exactly tempting fate by handholding. My biggest problem is in editing in that I tend to float around a bit before the snap so I have to cut exactly right post clip transition, time that adds up while editing. I'd probably be more into this if I didn't go nuts when I bought my fluid head (manfrotto 502) because there's no point having a carbon fiber tripod if you're carrying an anvil.

I feel you! If you're sure that you won't need it anymore, you could always sell your tripod. These things hold value for a while if you take care of it.

Quick question before I was able to shoot in xavc S 4k now my Zve-10 ii won’t let me anymore keeps saying my sd card do you know why?

@@saucegotti9402 probably because you’re trying to record in 4K 10-bit and your SD card is not fast enough to handle it.

Would you say that Ulenzi Tripod makes it useless to have a Hi Hat or does the Hi Hat really has some pros that can't be achieved otherwise? I guess weight is the main issue???

Also, when using a tripod this low, the legs are spread pretty far out so it takes more space. Depending how close you are to the sidelines, this can be an inconvenience.

Some venues don’t allow tripods. Only broadcast cameras can use a tripod. Most do allow a hi hat because it’s so portable.😊

I just got the ZV-E10 and I’m looking for a lens that can zoom in and out easily. I’m still pretty new to using cameras, so I want something that works well for filming soccer games at my park and for taking family photos. My budget is around $1,800. I’ve been thinking about the Tamron 35-150mm lens and wondering if it would be a good fit for my ZV-E10. Also, do you think the Sony A6700 would be better than the FX30 for longer recording sessions if I buy a cooler and use a dummy battery with it?

@@jonathanalvarez3950 the Tamron 35-150mm is a good fit indeed for what you’re trying to do. The A6700 won’t be better if you can manage overheating, it will basically the same but cheaper.

haha I'm definitely getting older! But I actually use tripods a lot less than when I was younger. Mostly because back then I didn't have any stabilization in my camera or lenses.
