It didn't come up to me either (only the first part). I entered the PlayStation classics section en the PSStore using the app and the where there. I didn't buy them, but I added them to my wishlist.

The Xbox versions supported progressive scan, whereas the PS2 versions only supported interlaced rendering; so it will look worse when compared to that that. No trophy support is a disappointment, but that may come later in a patch when the North American releases happen (that apparently happened with Summoner last month). But at the end of the day if you want to play them on a PlayStation, the Xbox version isn't going to do you much good.

I have both because I love these games I’ve compared both and the Xbox looks way better and loads 10x quicker. I really hope trophies are coming because playing on ps5 compared to Xbox is night and day.

But having ts1 is cool never got to play it back then

It's fine I think, one of the better emulated PS2 games on PS5. This and Future Perfect hold up better than the original game.

How does it run 60fps or 30fps?

DuckStation can do per-game input profiles, so perhaps you have MGS loading one which doesn't have the analog stick mapped properly if other games are working OK. While MGS is running go to Settings -> Game Properties -> Input Profile (will be Use Global or set to a specific custom profile).

There is a trick you can do to get the emulator to load additional commands. You need to create a file on your system while the game is running, and then restart the game. I find the easiest way to do this is using WinSCP, but any FTP program will work. 1. Start the game like normal. 2. Connect to your PS4 via FTP (WinSCP) and browse to /mnt/sandbox/CUSA32636_000/temp0 3. Create a new file in this folder called reboot-params.txt 4. Edit that file and add --enable-infected-mode=1 into the file, and save it. 5. Close the game via the PS menu, and then start it up again. 6. The game is now going to read that file you just created as it starts back up, and apply the extra setting. You should then create a Save State via the Options button so you have quick access to it again, as the reboot-params.txt file will be deleted when you turn the console off - but loading the Save State will let you get the mode back again without repeating these steps. It's a bit trickier if you want to apply more than one setting (eg. enable PSP controls and right stick remapping). The file needs to be in LF format for this to work, and the WinSCP editor will only edit in CRLF. So you have to create reboot-params.txt using an external text editor that lets you specify the line endings as LF, and then upload the file to the same location. Note you don't seem to be able to use infected mode and the old PSP controls at the same time; infected mode seems to force the Dual Shock 3 controller scheme. Hope that helps.

There is a gotcha in the song code. Look closely to find it.

make sure you're reading every egg correctly!

The dev played a mean prank, and one of the eggs has a wrong code on it. If you think about it, you can figure out which one it is.

@@idlegameplayer3756 no. I’m pretty sure all the warps and codes work at any point in the game. You can even get the wheel without freeing all the cats by playing the whole song

I haven't tried that to check, it would be interesting if it also had the issue. Although I would expect it not to, given it was intended to run at 30 FPS where as this was effectively being tricked into running at it.

It needs custom firmware unfortunately, if you have that then I can share some more detailed instructions than what is it the video description.

Thank you! The game has just been patched today, and it's restored the original 20 FPS so hopefully it should play as you remember it now.
