A Samantha dress! Oh she’s going to look so cute in that! And as far as the mystery project, those colors scream Star Trek Medical/Science to me. But given that you’re a Star Wars gal, I’m probably way off.😂

OMG, your daughter’s baby Regency dress in the background! It’s so tiny compared to her now! I’m liking how many projects you have to hop to. It kind of leaves you on a cliffhanger each time!

At a glance, the red print reads Christmassy. In a pop Mid-century way. It will probably look different scaled up to the size of a human, but in a close up, it's a little off putting. Especially compared to the other prints. Lovely as always!

So having checked my trusty dual temperature thermometer it was 20 outside first thing in the morning - sounds reasonable, it's been that outside during the night recently here in Ireland, however we're back to the usual summer rain today - going up to 30 by lunchtime. Again sounds reasonable, it's been reaching/exceeding those temperatures in Europe this year as well. Please give dual temperatures, saying 70 and 90 is meaningless to anyone not in the US.

A tip for recovery of such brittle papers. Increase the humidity in the room, allow time for the paper to hydrate from the air unfolding in stages. Use soft weights on flat areas allowing gravity and humidity to gradually open the deep folds. . If desired a humidifier in the room..... extreme methods > a fine mist spray into the air above the tissue. . Test methods on cheap tissue patterns. > some rubbing alcohol in the spray mist water. (I use this method) Or a few drops of glycerin in the spray mist water. (I have not yet tried this method , I think it entered my brain from a book binding video) . So far my > not extremely old < paper patterns have succumbed to humidity and alcohol water spray mist .

Well done for persevering with your yearly sewing plans. I am trying something similar with everyday makes.
