Wow. Just tried it after not using for 18 months. It would not charge and was exactly the same as you showed. I placed it on and off the charger about a dozen times, then abracadabra. Like magic it started charging. Thank you. :)

Domyou have to twist it hard to the right? I twisted mine and it seemed to lock but it’s not 100% align as if it needs to be twisted a bit more but I dont want to force it too much

I'm stuck trying to figure out how to remove the rear/left cup holders over the wheel like you showed in the video. I removed one screw in the cup holder but still doesn't seem to budge. Wast there a trick to it?

So yeah, let me go ahead and jump on the comment train here and tell you that I appreciate your video, even 5 years later it works. My fit 2 got pretty wet probably more than it should have and stopped working altogether, I thought it was done and was about to order another. After a few weeks I plugged it in just to see and it came on which was awesome but then it said "can't charge". I tried it a few times and nothing, watched your video and BOOOMMMM!!! Rapidly clicking it in and out of the charger (mine is different than the one in the video, like a little clip with only two contacts) maybe 100 times and the warning went away and now it's charging. Thank you for posting this I appreciate the help, CHEERS!

This worked! I thought the charging pads at the back of the watch were too worn out since they're very scratched up from years of use. As a caveat I thunked it on and off on and off (something I'd done many times while trying to get it going) and then got fed up but left it sitting on the stand for a minute to search and it suddenly started charging. It needed to sit there for that moment, something I had not previously tried.
