I love plaid and the feeling it evokes. This Christmas I am layering my table runners the length of my bread board end farm table. The bottom runner is red and black large hunter's check and the top one is a narrower red plaid. The centerpiece is a Williamsburg cone apple with boxwood. I will flank that with antique pewter candlesticks. Mmmmm, well that is the plan for now. We will see how it goes.

I am a Grandma. And I remember my Grandma going up in the mountains in WV and cutting down her own pine tree the mountains were behind her house and she owned the land. Then she would put left over quilt batting on the tree and it looked like snow!

Will always remember my grandmas house way back in the years. Even down to the goodies placed out in bowls, to her blue ornaments and lights. Hope my grandkids will remember me the same way. Christmas is making memories.

Strange.Is this a spin-off or a counterfeit of "Decor My Happy Home"? Even the background music is identical, even though the voice-over is different - and of course the style standard: mass production right out of Chinese work-shops, where they fake "vintage furniture."
