GLOBAL CALL FROM TURKEY A few weeks ago, a psychopath killed a girl (don't ask how he killed her, I feel sick when I remember it). The same person killed a different person on the same day. A lot of these women and children were never truly "evil" as patriarchal history describes them. They were all people/pawns in desperate situations having to choose "It's either you or me" with some wiser than the others to work the situation best they can to not end as horribly as their predecessors. Even so, both still suffering in one way or another regardless due to the every shifting moods of the "men" in charge around them and they all at his mercy.
@NyuffykahАй бұрын

@@Itsrosieeeee One of the most underrated and dignified woman in history. The show did her dirty and still I couldn't hate her in it. She got blamed by people when Hurrem got whitewashed and was basically called a badass for doing the same. And let's not talk about faceless insecure Suleiman and his ego. Disgusting man in the show and even more in real life.

@@GlanceOfPast The Ottoman society was a different society compared to the Turkish societies. While learning the religion they also mixed the Arab culture into it. This brought with it the absurd tradition of putting women in the background so much so that in Arab societies the woman walked behind her husband. However in 1934 Mustafa Kemal Atatürk ♥️ gave women back all the rights they had lost which is a good thing.

I must say , Constantine XI is one of my favourite historical figures and Roman emperors , after Constantine l and Octavian Augustus because he died as a *ROMAN EMPEROR* , he died an honourable death while protecting his city which completely befits a true emperor of Rome . I love him and this video 🌟
@jagritikumari40122 ай бұрын
Thanks for including Vlad lll , I really think that he's way more villainized than he actually was . I mean just look at his past , his suffering and imagine his trauma , I just couldn't help but pity him , he's the example of how cruel the world was back then , when for the sake of power and kingdom a father could give his own sons as hostages and seprate them from their mother , brother , country and himself; he was tortured in the most cruel way by Ottomans after the death of his father Vlad ll and his brother Mircrea [ I don't know if I spelled it right ] because they tried to forcefully impose Islamic education upon him and would punish him severely if he resisted which he did everytime , he was told to forget his motherland , family , religion and culture by Ottomans; not to mention that his brother Prince Radu got easily brainwashed and so he left Vlad; then he had to struggle soo much to regain the throne of Wallanchia from traitors and he spent his whole life fearing for his life and being cautious due to the traitors with whom he was surrounded with . Never once in his life was he truly happy , he was made a pawn used by power hungry people for political gains as a *CHILD* and we know the rest of the story , as the saying goes by *" Villains aren't born they're made "* And I seriously hate the portrayal of Vlad by RoE Ottoman series , like they seriously ruined the complexity of this historical figure just to propagate their agenda 😭
