Amazing. I have learnt something new. I was actually searching youtube to know how a drip machine works but you have explained how espresso machine works too. Love from India

you forgot to mention "usual serving sizes" 212 is 3.3125 time less than 64 so serving is only 100 ÷ 3.3125 = 30.18 mg per serving ?! for black coffee 40 / 95 = 0.42 so serving is 100 ÷ 0.42 = 238.09 mg per serving I really have no idea why espresso number is so low.

French press makes no drip coffee. It uses immersion and uses no paper filtering. So it is a complete different method and results in a different style of coffee (with e.g a lot more fat in it) as a result.

Am I the only person who has ever used a bombilla for my coffee? I put about an inch of medium ground ultra dark roast fresh ground Crigler coffee beans in a bottom of a Crigler coffee mug then poor about an inch of boiled water in the mug and pushbthe beans to one corner of the mug and put the bombilla which is pronounced bom-bee-sha. For anyone who is confused about what it's its a metal straw that has a filter in it and is traditionally used for Yerba Mate. I put that on the opposite side of the beans. I then slowly fill my mug with boiling water and let it sit still until it cools enough to put in the fridge where I let it sit for the entire night. I wake up and boil more water and drink about 1/4th the mug at a time adding hot water. The 1st few times I fill it it's like drinking the strongest iced coffee ever and slowly it starts to become warmer and warmer but it's still extremely strong. Infact so strong that I only drink a mug of coffee at most twice a week usually less. The rest of the week I prefer to stick to taking a caffeine pill. I find I enjoy the coffee much more when I only have it every so often and the way I prepare it and have to keep adding water every 5-20 minutes means it's impractical for me to do this every day where I can take a caffeine pill when I wake up and I'm good through the day. I prefer using a caffeine pill from nootropics depot because they have a caffeine pill thst has 2 different types of caffeine and it works for 10-12 hours instead of 6-8 hours thst a normal caffeine pill lasts. I believe the caffeine pill I get is called Dynamax and it also has 200mg of L-theanine which takes the edge off which I enjoy especially on those days I also do other stimulating nootropics such as phenylpiracetam or oxyracetam.
