THE KILLING OF SALWAN MOMIKA BY THE RADICAL MUSLIMS What did SALWAN MOMIKA accomplish by burning the Quran? We lost the life of a young man. Any loss our nation cannot afford to endure, even if it is one more life. In the past, we have lost millions due to our Christian faith, and our nation has already suffered too many losses. What were SALWAN'S goals in burning the book of the Quran? Was he attempting to prove to Western countries that Islam is a violent religion, or to persuade them to restrict Muslim immigration? If that was his aim, then his message was misguided and ultimately failed, as he lost his life-and for what purpose? In a few more months, no one will remember his message or his name, and for what? Western nations such as Europe, America, Australia, and Canada continue to welcome thousands of Muslim immigrants. If his intent was to demonstrate that the Muslim faith is not peaceful, he achieved nothing, for Islam continues to flourish and spread worldwide. We lost our homeland due to the Islamic invasion, and many of us left because of Islamic fundamentalism. Now, with the increasing presence of Muslims in Western societies, one day it may be too late. Western nations might open their eyes only to discover that they have lost a sense of national identity, with their systems potentially shifting toward Sharia law. I hope and I pray that soon the leaders of these countries will realize that if they don't stop the Islamic migration into their societies, soon it will be too late for them to reverse the damage and the change in their culture, government, and the way of their life as they knew it, along with the freedom of expression which their societies enjoyed, flourished, and advanced in technology and way of life. If they are not stopped and if they are not all sent back to their native countries, there will be no more Western or Christian countries left; we lost ours after being under their laws for the past 1,400 years, and that is why we are no longer living in our homeland. Wake up, West, before it is too late. In my view, it was a wasted life to burn the Quran merely to prove a point, and it was not worth the cost. May God bless Salwan Momika's soul and grant him peace.
