As the Speaker of the Parliament of the Republic of Armenia, Ararat Mirzoyan, and now the Minister of Foreign Affairs in the Pashinyan government, stated from the rostrum of the National Assembly that the Assyrians are the enemies of the Armenian people. The whole country silently listened to this nonsense of a high-ranking official. We consider this the most unfriendly act towards the Assyrian people. This is not permissible for politicians, especially in Armenia. Despite the fact that none of the Armenian political figures disavowed this statement or spoke out against such an obviously unfriendly step. And this despite the fact that at that time, on the Karabae Front, 10 Assyrian soldiers, called up by Yerevan for the war with Azerbaijan, died for the national interests of the Armenians.
