I had a few pin holes but nothing crazy so it got hit with the por15 and glass cloth. Then 2 layers of kilmat. Do you have any experience with removing the window to trunk panel? My trunk weather strip lip is gone

@ C heads. Because it’s a 65 425 with the 45 degree cam bank angle, the pushrod holes in the heads were enlarged.

@ yeah i have 9.5 now and i cant get low. Good thing is the speedway 9 comes with long splines. A half inch each side will get the off the shelf wheels to tuck nicely but im also thinking about a custom backspace to give me a deep dish look without tubbing.

that 4dr is the first one I think I've ever seen, looks really clean too, like all the trim and wheel well moldings, Do you have any spare parts for a '64 ? I do.. I've got a spare pass.fender, deck lid, spare tail lights complete and all this stuff is cherry, no dents or bondo, rust etc.. also got a set of rocker moldings... this is stuff I don't need. but I do need a few things, ie front turn signals complete both sides, and rear back up lites also.. so if you know any body that got any or need some of what I have, I may be coming down to San Jose to meet up with another Olds guy, hmu if we could meet up have lunch at Tommy's Joynt or Mel's on Lombard st.. l Love those places and miss em a Lot. Nice job on the f85 Oldsautomobile.

@@danielsandoval4974 stock they’re called a jet a way 2 speed. 700r4 would be nice that’s what we’re putting in it next. I would Forsure go with a 700r4 that way you can get away with a little more gear because of the over drive

455ci TH-400 sounds good for a bracket..mid 12's ? you need an outro of those F-85's sitting up on Twin Peaks/ Mt.Davidson.. ever take a rip thru Golden Gate Park or the Presidio, Ocean beach & Great highway ? Lots of great places over in the city on the Bay, Coast on the Pacific.

Quick reminder guys, this is Oldsmobile; it’s a Jetaway, not a Powerglide - completely different transmission! And the ‘64 is an F85 but not a Cutlass - there was no 4-door Cutlass until 1966. Nice work, keep it up, enjoying following your channel!

I've still got a 2spd ST-300 Jet a way..in my car- Cutlass/F85 but soon it will be a TH350 that I've got already. one extra gear would be great for those freeway drvs and these 2 lane black top and gravel coastal roads up here in the PNW. Organ. Not in P-Twn anymore.

my old stomping grounds growing up in the Bay Area, East Bay, S.F native, relocated in 2014 to PNW, Organ, Miss my heart I left in San Frisco.. sitting on those docks in the Bay. Sear's Point aka Sonoma speedway been there many many times but not for a long time. Love the Cutty.. Mine is a '64 F85 Cutlass 2dr post sedan. variety.

This is cool to watch. Brings back memories. My 66 Olds F-85 ran 11.20's @ 120mph with stock suspension and through the mufflers. It had a nice 425 Olds big block.

Yours still has the radio, I missing that and the shifter button as well. Mine is just the chain sticking out the top that you have to push. My interior looks the same but all cloth
