Great pictures from Tornados return to working service once again. Was one of her builders plates missing from her cab side? Another Darlington build locomotive going strong and bringing pleasure to thousands. Good seeing 51A shed plate for her hometown on the front too. Brilliant 😀👌🏻👍🏻

A great experience travelling on the Victorian rolling stock. The North Norfolk is a lovely railway. Shame the Holt to Melton Constable section wasn't preserved as it passes through really attractive countryside, with a long 1 in 80 climb up to Melton. At about 80 metres above sea level, Melton must have been the highest main station in Norfolk.

Bressingham is still one of the best heritage sites in the UK. I went last year and it was a great day out, and there was a lot to do. My favourite loco was GER No. 87, and whilst I patiently await its return to the National Railway Museum, it was such a treat to see it alongside the other Great Eastern loco the museum has. I wonder if the North Norfolk Railway should send their Y14/J15 to Bressingham until it can be overhauled.

Glad you had a nice visit, I operate the OO gauge layout most of the time when the Thetford club isn't around so what was running is what I set up! Made the red 0-4-0 from one of those excess collectors club models hornby is trying to flog off

Totally agree with you, great little locos. I have the green lined 'Una' version with DCC Sound and it's superb. Luckily, I also have a 7mm narrow gauge layout to run it on, so it was straight out of the box and onto my layout. I would definitely recommend the sound versions of these locos as Una has brought a new dimension to my layout which my existing locos don't have.

I really wanna play about with this big stuff, 009 is great but very fiddly and hard to get running well as its so tiny. Look forward to seeing the progess of your layout so I can live vicariously through you XD
