What are the most important signs of Gamble's deterioration that you should fix?!?

everything that went wrong here was 100% your fault ...at 6% you chose to keep flying rather than land at the easily findable roadside ......and your taste is music is horrendous

I had the problem with my DJI Phantom 4 and couldn't calibrate the vision sensors. I have an old 17" Hp Laptop and it calibrated OK when using it and I think I know why. When I tried to calibrate it while using my desktop with a 32" monitor, I was looking at the two small windows on the left where you see the images from the left and right vision sensors. I noticed there were washed out areas in the images that looked bright, and you couldn't see the screen dots in those areas. When I calibrated it using the old laptop, the images looked fine without any washed-out areas and the calibration was successful. I tried reducing the brightness on my desktop monitor, but the washed-out areas were still there, and I couldn't calibrate it. So, if you have those washed-out areas, it's not going to calibrate because it has to be able to see the dots on the screen and you are going to have to use another monitor or computer.

I had a lot of trouble doing this calibration BEFORE this brilliant video came along. I initially tried using the Apple version of the DJI software. My Mac Studio has the new Apple silicon and the DJI Assistant would go as far as the "start calibration" button, but I could never activate it - the button just stayed grey out. Cody's video and a friends Windows 10 laptop loaned to me sorted everything out and the drone is now calibrated! Make sure you follow his instructions on how to hold and move the aircraft while calibrating.

I don't understand how the emitter on the drone shows up on the calibration screen. No camera is on, how does it know where the drone is pointed?

In future just land anywhere that is reasonably easy to reach. Don’t always need to fly it back home unless over the ocean land it anywhere easy like a pavement or footpath or a camping ground etc anywhere easy

You must have got ahold of a real POS because you are saying how fragile the mavic pro is when in reality you can smash it into a brick wall and it won't break... naturally the gimbal will but nothing else will break...unless you do it on purpose or fall hundreds of feet out of the air ... but from normal use you will not break this drone.

might be completely wrong but, looking at the smoke I think the wind was blowing in the other direction, I've seen this before, could be a motor error or a damaged prop, wind is different at different altitudes though, glad you got your drone back

Two things, why take it out so far, ( its illegal and if you injure someone you could be looking at jail term) not a good idea keep it in sight, second, looking at the trees, there was very little wind, looks like you had the orientation messed up i hope you get it fixed, keep it local next time

If you’re 2 miles out and you got it battery at 64% why in the world would not have you turned around immediately. What do you mean there’s no call for alarm if it took almost half your battery to get out it’s gonna take have to get back and that’s if you don’t have a headlight and if you have a head when you’ve got real trouble.

This was 100% pilot error. You flew over so many good landing spots when you had 10% battery. You should factor the wind when ever flying. These are all basic flight management steps.

You must starting return to home al least at 60% battety. You could cancel auto landing with red X on the left side, and maybe bring it back home.

Thank you what a wonderful video, even after 6.4 miles, (33807 feet), you still has almost a full 2.4gz signal, and 16% battery left for a great smooth flat landing. And of course you had high winds against you too. Great quality video too with that 1inch cmos, ISO 400, 1/2000 shutter and 4k video at 30fps. Most enjoyable. YOu were very brave, its a lot of KIT to lose, and I just hope the drone was still there when you went to rescue it.

The drone didn't fail...you did. I think you did it in purpose so others might learn not to do what you did. These drones are "almost impossible" to crash. You have to be doing something really dumb and or ignore all the prompts to stop what your doing.
