Rocky 1 took place in 1976 while Rocky 5 takes place in 1986 so this would be like 10 year gap. It would be like someone in 2024 having thoughts of something from 2014

My best friend brought up a good point. He said this scene is never happened and it’s just the impact of Rocky’s brain damage. Mickey never acted like this when we would see him in the first 3 films. Now that’s not saying he didn’t have it in him. However, it’s interesting to think about.
