I was younger when crashed into the back of parked car as well as clipping a parked car, causing me to fall into the lane traffic (the car had time to stop). As you are much older, wiser and have a perspective as a driver now, and especially with hindsight, cycling again would be possible. Like for one, you would probably never do that kind of 'stunt' again and even for a more mundane ride, there are safe places to cycle. Maybe in time you can ride again.
