I’m seriously struggling with the timing of hitting 😔. Either my timing is horrible, I forget to jump , or I end up in the net. I’m determined to learn how to hit by the start of my next szn !!

I was teaching a middle schooler at a birthday party and hit all these points save for "armpit space" which I've never considered. I told him that if you didn't touch the ball it should land on his forehead but I never thought of using a beach ball and heading it. I've had a few volleyballs slip through sweaty hands, so embarrassing but at least I'm following form!

I did understand this as catching the core is like tearing the heart of a person (not in a sentimental way), as you hit straight the chest and grip the heart. Its a bad example and its taken of an anime but its kinda similar

but only for womens volleyball, as a man you still are not allowed to double touch

@@leviten8526 They do though, refs are super relaxed about it. It's like an unwritten rule now. Which is fine

hi I like your channel very much. This video was excellent! I'm not sure what other people think, but on KZbin the english translation you write at the bottom is constantly blocked by the timeline so it is difficult to read and watch as I am constantly pausing to see the video actions as well as read the directions. If it is an easy fix on your end, it might be better in the future to put the written english at the top of the video instead of the bottom?
