This build is amazing.. Can you show us how you did it in another video? Super impressive. It's the best build and run I've seen to date with these 4 stroke engines. Well done.. ✅

And it doesn't have the gyro system of the new Losi Pro Moto. Just bloody awesome. Unbelievable that Kyosho could come up with this and it works great without all the electronic gyro and stabiliser and all the rubbish in modern RC cars and bikes. AWESOME MATE YOU HAVE A SUBSCRIPTION FROM ME👍

Great idea to combine that engine with your good-looking vintage boat. Seems to be a good fit. Well done. 👍🤔 I bought one of those engines last year, was thinking about putting it in a boat too.

Your 112T main gear with 13T pinion is a original standard performance. 118T with 14T pinion is a booster performance and your motor should be 750MX. 118T main gear is now obsolete

This is the best explanation why these planes are so twitchy, if you fly with a Radiomaster transmitter you can soften the movement of the control surfaces a great deal. I believe the spit is the twitchiest of all these mini warbirds. Thanks.

Amazing to see after so many years a compagnucci in the gas powered version….Long long time ago a friend of mine during my childhood had the electric version of it, it had also a Transport bag where both versions was shown and I remember as a kid when we was talking about how stunning it would be if we had also the gas version 😅💥 Good old times!

Yeah, My L200 ran well the 1st time I put my video out but then the problems you described came after. I even went through 46+ emails with Sterlinkit during and after I send it in. the 1st issue for not starting up them when I got it back the rear tip of the crankshaft broke so I had to argue to get a replacement and I asked to include a SEMTO engine gasket to try it one more time but then I had to move all my RC stuff to a new location and now time is not on my side. haven't got a video out since then. hopefully when I get it all together and if I get lucky with good start, I'll put out an update video. I didn't want to believe that a SEMTO $150 would outperformed our $400 L200. cheers mate.

Thank you, yes I have been around a while and it still shocks me that no one really knows about nitro engines, I found out the hard way many years ago, the most important thing is to run the fuel right out of the engine and then keep trying to start it till it won’t fire anymore, then add your oil of choice, do not use Wd40 as it’s a solvent and will lock the engine up, I hear so many guys say oh I just shoot a squirt off Wd down the carb it’s fine, trust me this will make matters worse, a good two stroke oil is what you need and not just a splash, you need to fill the engine right up if you are going to store it for a while or if you intend to run it each week run the fuel out add a squirt of oil and turn engine over that all you need. If you don’t try and start the engines you can save them by just changing the bearings, beware the guys that say not been started for 20 years and a drop of fuel and it started straight up 🤦‍♂️that will be the end of that engine I have had it over so many years but still guys don’t believe what I say. Anyway thanks for the kind comment like and subscribe I have put another vid up today hope you like it 👍🏻

A tips by the way. Back in the day, i diddn’t had a controller with much adjustments on. I ruined my shiftfork inside the tranny, because of the friction from being pushed against the shifter. The fork are made in plastic, so it burned up in there. Luckily i could buy it brand new. The travel settings is a must have. Other then that, it works like a charm. I know you can adjust the travel mechanicly, but its more precise with the travel settings from the controller. From watching your videos, i understand you’re highly skilled with nitro. I totally agree reguarding the disassembly of the engines, and all the destruction one can do to these small delicate engines. Around ten years ago, i worked in a hobbyshop, and i dont know how many engines i opened, that was totally ruined inside. Always the same, fuel in the tank and fuel Lines, and gummed up inside, with customers cursing and swearing about how bad quality i sold them. 😂 Love your videos, keep e’m coming. 👍

This is a must have in the collection in my opinion. I had mine since 2004, and i collected a good amount of parts for it, when there were some, without overpaying and had to hunt everywhere for them. It is like new, and i understood at that time, that it would probably be a collector’s item in the future. Not much about these on KZbin , so its nice to watch this. Enjoy! 🙂

I was planning on getting one of these. Do you have an idea of how hot the engine gets?I was thinking of having a lot of 3d printed parts and wondering if they can hold up to the heat.

i miss mine... the stock engine was a POS, the rotostart flogged out. now i think of it, a proper double lip seal would probably work wonders as it only had an o-ring. o-rings are for static or sliding, not rotating! and a lot of its issue was the stock glowplug... whatever... never had it run for more than a minute at a time... basically take off, stall, fall over. rinse and repeat. rather frustrating. by the time i figured out that bit, had stuffed an osmax (30, iirc?) in there, and ran a few litres of fuel through it... utterly destroyed the chassis too :) kept the pullstart... that took a beating... but was definitely better than a drill, flat batteries, blah blah... got obsessed with the os fs 26 at one stage, but never shoved that in there, had it in a POS HSP. spent a long time figuring out a good gear shift, and hunting down gears, clutchbells, etc... looks like you have a fairly close ratio, i found on a car it needed to be almost a 2:1 step between hi and lo, for decent acceleration without melting clutches, along with a worthwhile top speed.. then again, i had the surpass rather than the C(x) engine... with a big bore 30 piston and sleeve :) also spent a long time, and a silly amount of money on the C(x) cam... crank (CX=pullstart)... pretty well much every part from the C(x) except the case itself... never actually ran it with the car cam in it besides a few bench runs? how life gets in the way of fun... and then stuffed it all in a box and forgot about it.... or more like, an old saucepan that then kicked around in various random locations gathering dust and iron filings and dead beetles... surprisingly, the tyres still look pretty good... sigh... almost got me tempted but yeah... finish the projects im already doing first! really do need to get my CNC mill back together and working again... that was about where i left off, starting making engine mounts etc for a new bike, and yeah... windows... dead PC... the joy of modern life, having to relearn software, everything you buy is obsolete before you even unbox it.... grrr! at a certain point you sort of give up and just watch the grass grow instead... cus you have to fix the mower, lol... at least my machining abilities have improved somewhat since then...

Hope you like my video channel and thanks for the reply, if you watch the videos of it running the gearing is pretty good with wheelie in first and good top speed in second, but sold it to a mate of mine in Italy 🇮🇹 The Cx engine is very collectible I sold all mine bar one, and just starting on another OTO or ZR racing 1/8 nitro, I sold my Mk 1 to a friend in Canada and again missed it so building a MK2 this build will be on KZbin soon, I not had many problems with nitro bikes but then again I been running them most of my life, subscribe if you like and keep the faith and start on that bike again 👍🏻
