A1 mark II please. The A1 is outdated by now. With Canon dropped their R1 flagship it's only right for Sony to drop the new flagship A1 to compete. A7 V can wait till next year

probably A1 mk II , other alpha line camera's have already been refreshed. a new A7V doesn't make that much sense , it will have to pretty crippled and wouldn't even compete with the 8k camera's that are available.. the market seems to be trending into the higher price level so a new mid level camera wouldn't make much sense , the A7IV\A7CII still fulfil this purpose

A1M2 with 8k60p !!! A1 used to be the best in both photo and video yet video is outdated by canon and nikon which both shoots 8k60p raw!! It is time to update A1 with 8k60p raw capability!

it's not 24-70 f2. it is same as 28-70 f2. big chunky lens. but beast. It's already here and I got a chance to see and use the lens. i think it will be released very soon. maybe with the A1 MII

A7V or A7SIV with better skintones and color science. Nikon is winning in color science game. If sony beats in this aspect a lot of nikon users will switch.

Oh, great, ANOTHER Sony camera body… just what we needed (after the software update for the A1 and FX3 BRICKED those camera bodies 🤬 I’m done with my A1 and two FX3s and I’m NOT upgrading them because - even under extended warranty - Sony Tech Help could not assure me the updates would 1.) work 2.) cost me to fix them! And - to all the Sony fan boys out there who keep assuring others that their “upgrade worked w/o any problems” - feel free to offer to PAY for anyone who does have problems and money where the mouth is…

If it's the A7V I hope it has a stacked sensor. Sony has a gap in their line up for a lower price stacked camera to compete with Canon and Nikon. At the very least it has to have a read out speed to match Canons R6II

I wonder if it will be a true successor to the A7Siii, maybe they call it FX something but needs to have an EVF.

It's still too soon for an A7V, as the A7IV was released relatively recently. I'm expecting an A7SIV.

Between 24th & 31th of October it is OM systems third anniversary, hurt a lot talk, no action On new products to be announced, you would think for three year anniversary they would be a major announcement such as a new camera and lenses.

It would be nice if they release the Sony A7V that's like a baby A1, or a preview of the A1II. Like they could keep the same sensor as in the A7IV but maybe 12 fps in 14-bit raw and have a faster sensor, not stacked, but fast enough to reduce banding when using the electronic shutter. Maybe 14 fps in 14-bit raw, I mean they have the technology.

They really do need to release the A7 V to compete with the R6 II and Z6 III. The current A1 is still a beast that could be the flagship for another year.
