They are both great! Depends on the voice and if you prefer to do any processing. Gotta say that for 1/3 price the Fifine K669D is a real banger as it just brings it for the value. Not to really take anything away from the podmic as it is loaded with goodness and could definitely be the preferred option based unmanly factors and personal preference. Like many things the answer is, "it depends." Great review.

Son of a biscuit eater!!!!! I was really thinking the PodMic was gonna blow away the K669D and it didn't! They both sound on par with each other and at two different ends of the price spectrum. When you added processing, again I thought the PodMic was going to soar past the K669D BUT! Imo the K669D sounded better!

Hey there Mr. Bearded Roboto Geek! I need to catch-up on your videos. That mic is just like the Fifine AM8. I agree with your assessment on it, however, I'm not a fan of those toy-like sound cards. They're all kinda gimmicky and cheap looking to me. I know the point of those things is for gamers to hook their phones up to them for streaming, but I'd rather have a regular analog sound mixer. For $54.00, I bought a 6-channel sound mixer (all metal build) with 4 of the 6 channels being XLR. It also has 256 sound FX, three band EQ, peak meters for every channel and Bluetooth connectivity. If I wanted a digital unit with that many XLR's it would cost me $600.00 to $800.00...Yikes. So when I saw the Maono priced at $45.00, I thought that was outrageous. You basically get a light show with one decent mic input. Sorry, just my opinion. Nothing personal. Great job on your review. Now I'm off to watch another one of your videos. Peace!

Fifine was the hands-down winner in the plosives test for sure. Amazing difference. Sound-wise, the difference was miniscule at best. I own both and love the sound they both produce as budget mics. Nice comparison.
