Gosh ! A drummer by training, I own the very same V-Drum system (except for the cymbals, for which only the flat PD-10 pads existed when I bought it). It has trustily followed me in studios and on stage for the last 30 years without a hic-up ! These machines were truly made to last. (I see you set it up for left-handed play)

Loved that smooth, dreamy and a tad nostalgic groove. And I like that you let it take its time, with its 7+ minutes. This really makes me want to try more alt-rock-oriented pieces on my EP 1320 (using the original 133 samples).

i'm slmost at the point of adding a 1320 medieval ...KO's are such fun ...ended up 7mins cos it's a jam not really arranged as a song.

@@cresshead I went for the 1320 due to my long-time love for medieval and early renaissance music, and also because I found TE had real guts to put such a quirky thing on the market ! But I then discovered how great and intuitive the workflow of the KO II series is (and I did not expect I would enjoy it, frankly). The one big drawback I can see with these machines is the voice stealing problem. Not implementing a resampling function makes them hardly usable for fully finalised mixes (but then, one could argue this is not what these machines are made for). I suppose the voice stealing problem will naturally disappear if you buy a second one and synchronise it with the first !

@@goingmodular re voices ..i'm trying to work out do i get a second KOii or ad a medieval instead? re resampling - curently i use a PO-33 and or a PO-35 speak to bounce/resample samples or usemy sp-404mkii ... but a second KOii or medieval would off the same more or less .. (minus reverse)

Thank you very much for the comparative analysis, albeit with some error. I definitely prefer the TD3, it is on another level anyway, if Roland could put this sound in this box - it would be a phenomenal device, well, what is, that is, the price and quality in this matter are completely TD 3.
