Hi there. I assume, your comment is a question? We didn‘t do it in one piece. There are some though stages. Whether you can hike 390 km without rest in 16 days is of course up to you. I would call it challenging. The good thing about camping is that you can go as far as you want and then rest. Wildcamping is not prohibited … here is some advice www.tcs.ch/de/camping-reisen/camping-insider/ratgeber/reisevorbereitung/wild-campen-in-der-schweiz.php (in german, french and italian - online translaters work fine today 😉.) if you haven‘t already checked it, here‘s some info about the via alpina in english: www.schweizmobil.ch/en/hiking-in-switzerland/route-01.html I wish you good luck, good wheather and soft shoes 😜

Hi Bo. I defenitely like the Alpenpässeweg better … its more alpine, higher mountains, higher passes, less people ;-) I‘ll publish soon a new version of the Alpenpässeweg video … swissgerman and english … I hope it will be of help. Looking forward to comments.

Hi! Thanks for informative video! Do you think this trail is doable in late May - early June? I'm looking for a trail that doesn't climb too high and doesn't travel through extensive snow cover. Ocassional snow patch it fine but I'd rather see some alpine flowers blossom.
@maxoptikum
@maxoptikum 2 жыл бұрын
Hi. That's hard to say. The highest point on the ordinary trail is Forcla Sesvenna with 2800 m.a.s.l. Although there wasn't much snow in the alps this year (at least untill now), that's still very high.
@maxoptikum
@maxoptikum 2 жыл бұрын
Check out this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eF7cm418n7WbbpI The trail doesn't climb that high. But there are some very short stretches that are quite steep. You don't want to have snow there. Early June is ... early ;-)

Merci.

Wow! Damit habe ich gedanklich auch schon gespielt. Was hast du für Erfahrungen gemacht?

Hi there. Thanks for the comment. What a coincidence: I started working on an english version today. Hope to publish it before march. Enjoy the hike with your friend. When we run out of hiking ideas (not in sight yet), we plan on doing the same hikes again - but walking in the opposite direction.🙃
