Via Alpina in 10 minutes - a virtual flight

We fly with GoogleEarth along the "Via Alpina" - the swiss national hiking route No. 1. From Montreux to Sargans, with elevation profile and pictures from the way.
Data on the entire route:
Metres in altitude ascending: 24'800 m
Metres of altitude descending: 23'600 m
Distance: 390 km

Hi.. how tough Is it.. we've got 16 days to complete it.. we be camping the whole way .. maybe a hotel here and there ....🚶‍♂️👣🍂⛺️

Hi there. I assume, your comment is a question? We didn‘t do it in one piece. There are some though stages. Whether you can hike 390 km without rest in 16 days is of course up to you. I would call it challenging. The good thing about camping is that you can go as far as you want and then rest. Hi Bo. I defenitely like the Alpenpässeweg better … its more alpine, higher mountains, higher passes, less people ;-) I‘ll publish soon a new version of the Alpenpässeweg video … swissgerman and english … I hope it will be of help. Looking forward to comments.
