I think the most notable difference compared to your everyday coffee is the complete lack of acidity and bitterness. So much so that at first taste I wasn't convinced that I had coffee in my cup in the first place. But that is not how I know my coffee and certainly wouldn't want to drink this as the only coffee for the rest of my days.

Like a few others in these comments, I was NOT impressed. I sprung for 5 ounces of this at almost 55 dollars and I religiously made the first pot from a ceramic grinder, thoroughly cleaned for the occasion. I used a freshly cleaned Mocca-Master 400 dollar coffeebrewer and I was SO disappointed. It was good, but not as breathtakingly flavorful as the Kona coffee I got the month before. I know that taste differs but this is ridiculous. Hope the Ethiopian Yirgacheffe that is next on the program is better. Thanks for a great video.

I like the video but as à french women leaving in the US, who loves coffee, I don't comprehended anyone who loves French roast. French roast is an insult to coffee. I have never tasted anything as répugnent as French roast anywhere in Europe. It is only a marketing gimmick to sell something that should be thrown away as a burn bean.
