Yes the seat does have a couple of levels of recline. I never noticed a battery option for the swing, but I don't have it any more unfortunately to check for you. The seat itself has a couple of vibrate options that run on batteries x

@@dd-jo2wg yes it was very useful for sleeping and keeping the baby distracted for a few minutes while I ate. Also, the seat comes off pretty easily, so I could bring the baby in the kitchen while I cooked etc. (you just have to hold it from the bottom, as well as the handle) 👍

Can you please check the middle back where all the functions are placed to see if the swing goes with battery as well. Also does the swing make wired noise?

I actually never ended up trying that function. We didn't have batteries in the house when we got it and it worked great for us with just the swing functions x

I'm so glad! That's why I posted it, because I was so ashamed that it didn't "click" after a day or two like it says in the book x

I used regular dish soap on a textured cloth, and that worked great 👍

I never took the whole cover off, I just used to spot clean it x

I only ever removed the padded inserts, and then cleaned underneath with a damp, soapy cloth. I tried to remove it, but only got so far. The manual doesn't say anything, but the colour pack is just the padded inserts and hood, which leads me to believe that the base fabric can't be changed x

Stick the whole seat in the shower and hose it down. Leave it to air dry. That's the only way to do it

We stayed just in the kitchen and bathroom (which are on the same floor), because the rest of the house is carpeted. I put a potty in each room, and we were like that for all of block 1. I definitely recommend the oh crap Facebook group too, for extra support as you go - it's brilliant! x x x

It says that all the covers are machine washable, but I personally never tried it. I only wiped any mess with a soapy cloth 👍

We ended up doing a lot of more traditional methods after a couple of days. What worked for you instead? I found that experience to be by far the hardest part of parenting, so far!

My first baby used it for around 5 months for his naps, and this baby stopped around 2 months, because she slept better in her bed x

It plugs in to the wall to swing and play music, and the seat has batteries to vibrate 👍

Congratulations! Are they close in age? It's so hard - newborns just don't look right without a blanket 😄 This is my 2nd summer baby, and I tend to dress them about the same as me, and just keep an eye on how hot they look/feel. Mine also feed a lot on hot days, but sick most of it back up 👌

@@phoebehope6549 my first two are actually less than a year apart (thanks to my Dr at the time not putting me on appropriate birth control), my youngest is now 4 and a half, so a much bigger gap between them which I can't say doesn't worry me a little haha! I suppose it's better for them to feed too much and puke some back up, than not get enough and be dehydrated!

Oh my goodness! I don't know how you did it with your first two 😱 Mine are almost exactly 2 years apart, and it is definitely a challenge (but INCREDIBLE when they're bonding 💕) x

@@phoebehope6549 it honestly wasn't too bad, obviously there were the odd tough day, but I think you'd always get that with any age gap (or with just one lol), they were both babies so they kind of slotted around each other. I didn't get a lot of sleep, (neither did their dad), but it was all completely worth it. They're best friends now and I honestly wouldn't change a thing!

It's so hard when you're in the thick of it! Just trust your instincts and know it'll happen one way or the other x
