Something similar to master of orion 2 diplomacy with ai would be cool. A hidden scale of how much an ai nation likes you would be cool. Gifts and beneficial trades of gems would increase the scale of your relationship to Friendly. Hostile actions reduce it. Killing their pretender sets the scale all the way to hostile.

I am a little confused, since i don’t get to play and love the way you do your play-troughs, but why did you say that getting to Growth 5 would make all of your land into forest, because i was confident that it was a dom6 Asphodel growth 4 mechanic no? Or is it universal that after a while all growth 5 provinces change into forests?

I couldn't help laughing at the thought of Irminsul shrinking... But it is actually pretty bad and really bad luck, losing 30% hp on an immobile pretender is really bad if you ever need him to defend your cap.

15:56 Don't forget that horses also give a lot of siege strength in Dom6. I am fairly sure that 5 Marauder Light Horsemen would have given you more siege strength than the 12 Marauder Hunters that you got.

Finger of death is actually weaker than tendrills of death, because both are hard to resist but tendrills of death strikes 7 times! So you 7 chances per spell cast to decay any unit, which alwalys kills them, because they also get diseased, which halves regeneration, if they have it.

Another great episode, lots of action happening. Btw, when you are crafting items or searching in the item finder, you can use the magic-path shortcuts (e.g. like you use "s" in the research tree to look for astral spells) to see only items with the according magic gem usage

One thing that can really help keep single player games moving quickly is to dump more gems into siege chaff. Giving every communion slave 5 draconian or great eagles bodyguards as a policy, for example... But you could also have been turning some of those Earth gems into gate cleavers after siege Golems.

With 200-350 pearls per turn in income, it would make sense for you to perhaps dispel at least wrath from the skies so it stops killing your mages? And potentially replace it with something else. :D

Honestly, late game SP dominions is hella fun, especially with Nexus, and even moreso if you've upped the number of sites. My biggest advice is to not be afraid to empower. 30ish gems so you have an extra guy summoning golems, great eagles, or someone forging more boosters every turn is great. Every mage in the army gets boosters and temp gems, you have 20 people forging kits with hammers, you have can have armies made of basically any summon you want, and so much else. Plus, you get to wish for more things than gems - Dominion, blood slaves population, and cool casters (No Seraphs, but I've found Marids, Caelum summons, and Umu-Apkallu to be useful). One thing I did in a game where I found a conjuration and Ench site near each other was have a Rudra summoning factory, then divine naming and lichcrafting them. Slave matrix Tarrasque powering a Turbo Communion of empowered liches - the possibilities are endless. It really lets you explore the depths of Dominions without needing to worry about being "Optimal".

A useful trick for avoiding the chaos warriors splitting up is to put them as bodyguards of the champions, this can keep smaller numbers of them together more.

Because the adjacency affects fort provinces as well, it's really easy for one plague type to gain control since any province that rolls a 5% to remove will get bombarded by neighbors turning it into the most common kind. If you get a particular plague you want in your first fort, it may be worth delaying some other forts to get that version to spread and become dominant. If you get a plague you don't want, it may be time to try and get as many other forts up as quickly as possible to try and salvage things for the type you want. or just say oh well. If things are mostly even at the beginning, it'll probably tilt towards popkill and zombies over time.

Since death scales emerge in foreign territory where dominion is, I wonder if that means they immediately revert to growth again if you take the territory or if it slowly transitions? Not sure how huge the implications of that would be, but quite curious

It is quite annoying with the multiple form recruits that you get a few different ones that don't match in combat speed. I personally think it should be changed so that every possible type of the same recruit at least matches in combat speed.
