Regarding audio + facecam: All speaking audio is at a good balance, game audio is too loud relative to spoken audio. Facecam is fine, don't need it but don't mind it. You're a handsome guy. More critically (this only really applies if you do want to genuinely bump up some video production, which obviously isn't necessary for just mostly showing cool games of dominions): Stuff like the game audio being too loud or a speaker being too quiet is very easy to sort out with a quick test recording, just a couple of minutes and you've zero chance of having a video with messed up audio. I will say that in the past the closest I've come to choosing to not watch a video you've made has been when there has been some fault with the audio. As for the facecam, I think they're wonderful for livestream engagement and I think you've chosen the scale of facecam to screen well, it's not distracting at all. Still, if you're bothering with a facecam in a video with multiple speakers, might be worth also chucking in say the discord voice chat overlay or whatever to the same segment of the screen. Keeps things even across all vocal participants and helps identify speakers for newcomers. And as this isn't a livestream I think it doesn't quite add as much and in instances where everyone is mostly quiet watching the battle and across such a long video it certainly doesn't feel necessary. Still, I don't mind; I just don't think you're gaining that much unless you're going a step or two more professional to represent all speakers. Also certainly an option to have it on for the introduction of a video and then go without it for the bulk of the video. On a more meta level, a few things to consider are: Certainly do try it, I think especially if you're starting a new series - it's a worthwhile experiment to see if the algorithm might like it, and a bigger audience for you benefits the dominions community at large. I forget where you said it, in one of these episodes or the podcast or your video plugging the podcast; but with a tournament announcement in the works: I think facecam really adds to that sorta a video, really helps communicate passion and enthusiasm which invites viewership well. Finally, I think you'll just generally have a bit of pushback on pure principle, the more prolific facecam usage is exhibited more towards livestreaming and a lot of more mass-media younger generation style gaming content. This doesn't mean facecams are bad, but it means a decent amount of an older audience might have a bit of an allergic reaction. I think people who like what you do can overcome that easily enough. Best of luck, it's clear you put in effort in a lot of areas for the podcast and they all seem worthwhile.

The face cam is a nice idea but here it feels a bit odd, maybe since this is more of a review of something that already happened. But I'm not totally opposed to it like some people seem to be. I think it could work on live gameplay like streaming / single player / blitz Anyway you're a good looking dude

It's worth highlighting how impressive Asphodel's research is; having conjuration 9 summons online by turn 50 is not easy. Underlying this is just how important tempo was in this war; our being able to force a big fight with his army just after getting Alteration 8 but before his 9s came online likely decided the outcome of that main fight a few turns back.

Im personally happy with or without the facecam but it seems to be either laggy or poorly sync'd with the audio which I find quite jarring (havent finished the video yet). I also think having a specific section of the screen dedicated to the face cam (like a streamer setup), without just greenscreening around your body, tends to look better imo

Pls don't become a face streamer on gameplay vids, it gets in the way of the screen. You are a good looking guy but I love the OG format! Either way I appreciate the content as always. I played my third ever MP game against you and others back in Dom 4.😊

I think we didn't mention it, but the extremely murderous squad of disciplined goblins were kinda brave from 2xp stars (from being made as blood hunting bodyguards 30 turns ago) and had quickening in addition to the Barkskin, both of which details were likely important to beating that Howl defense.
