I'll be honest, I basically ignored the testing from a strategic standpoint; I felt like we had to move given the game state, and always end up throwing in last minute surprises that add additional theories of victory for me in a given battle. Some later tests were really useful eventually for verifying some mechanics interactions that I theorized might help us, like that it turns out Life after Death blocks Carrion Seeds. I had been pretty sure we'd get stomped in a doom stack fight before Cookies tested anyway :)

Problem with forward positioning mages in that Mari fight is that archers set to fire w/o target are very likely to pick the mages over the more distant knights of chalice with a bunch of prot. Mari just needed more than they could field really. Water elementals are brutal now. More HP in a square for mage logic, so they attract quickness point buffs well enough (which you have path access to if you can make them), AND they wade, so you get wading summons with 8x AP crush attacks. That's no joke, it will blend lines very quickly with just a few. It was an effective setup in Dom 5 IF you could do it, but also impractical to use with an army due to no wading + quickness getting prioritized by random squares of humans. Now, they will reliably reach the front putting up damage only very heavy thugs could match.

When a nithbathed dies and is rezzed by a scar does their fatigue reset as well? Could be a weakness to Asphodel if its no.

Yes their fatigue resets and they have a chance to clear afflictions like when an immortal rezzes.

Is it a good thing that every heavy cav nation picks enchanted blood undying? Would that not mean it is an ovepowered pick when it is all anyone picks?

No it means it was a popular and widely shared build concept. I've no reason to believe it's overpowered; certainly Tien Chi at least is not winning battles vs players on the back of that bless.

Enchanted blood is a very efficient expansion bless. Most nations can use it to keep attrition low and have a fast expansion phase. It's not very useful in PvP combat because players will use high damage solutions and smarter play. Vs independants during expansion it's hard to find a 4 point bless that gives you the same efficiency.

Is this game over? Or which turn does the asphodel nerf get patched?

Game started in May and finished a couple months ago, well before the Asphodel nerf patch. But you'll get to see some ungodly piles of freespawn, which would still feel pretty huge if they were 15% smaller... So the main impact of the nerf will be on how quickly Asphodel can scale up.
